What Happened During the Time Jump?
|
| Bliss Adair |
Too many things had been going on all at once. The emotional rollicoster would of been too much if she hadn't of had Travis there for her as well as Fletcher. She has been going to Scotts art shows and Busying herself with work to balance stress. Her Cousin came down for a month or so in July to help her with it. |
| Ren Alden |
It's been a pretty run-of-the-mill month for Ren. However, he and his fiancee did come up with a date for their wedding. He talked her into a Halloween wedding, and so for now they are planning to be married on Saturday, October 31, 2009. |

| Andrew Baker |
|
| Madeline Baker |
After Gus and his wife decided to move out of town, he offered her a great deal on the barber shop. After talking it over with David, they decided it was a great opportunity, and Maddy spoke to her father about it. |
| Cole Cleyburne |
Cole, still struggling over feelings for two women, has a heart-to-heart with Lauren at her house. Even though they agree to a mutual break-up until Cole can get his emotions squared away, he knows he's hurt Lauren's feelings and very likely broken her heart. This doesn't help his current plight and in fact, makes him even more angry at himself. With his biggest source of advice and comfort gone (Amy), Cole submerges himself in a variety of activities to keep busy. Softball and training for the adventure race in the fall help, as does the seclusion of remodeling the lighthouse interior (now that the weather will allow it). He makes it a point to stay away from Isabella as much as possible, which is made easy with his weekend with the Coast Guard and a weekend in Providence visiting Logan. Ethan does his best to keep up Cole's spirits and offer guy advice, but it's something that Cole himself has to work through. On another note, he takes the pictures and information regarding his "stalker" to the PPPD, who agree to have detectives follow him around for a week. Nothing else ever comes from it and he recieves nothing from the person for the month of June. Thinking it all to be just a scare tactic, Cole drops the matter. |
| Kaitlin Collins |
|
| Riley Collins |
|
| Travis Collins |
At the end of May, Travis and Ariel finally called it quits now that it seems like Ariel will not be returning to Pleasant Port. After meeting in early 2008, Bliss and Travis have just begun to date in the first few days of July and are anxiously awaiting their first date as a couple. |
| Farrah Covington |
Farrah and her boss at the jewelry store finally have it out about her tardiness and drug usage, and she's fired. Worse still, Georgina decides to stay in NYC with Lara for an undisclosed amount of time. She has to make arrangements to get her name on the lease and thus, Farrah inherits a lonely apartment. Gigi also appoints her manager of the sex shop in her absence, which solves the employment and financial problems but puts a lot of pressure on Farr to make sure she doesn't screw up. As such, her social life suffers considerably and she has to cut back on her drinking and drugs. On top of that is planning Micah's and Cassie's parties. To make matters even worse, Darnell has begun trying to weasel his way back into her good graces...leaving flowers, candy, and gifts at her door or having them delivered to the store. As the end of June rolls around, Farr is stressed out and her behavior swings wildly from complete bitch to depressed sulker. For the 4th of July, she makes sure she has some time off and disappears for a couple of days... |
| Nathan Covington |
|
| Wes Covington |
|
| Cassandra Davis |
Within the past month Cassie has spent a significant amount of time getting to know her father, Jackson O'Neal. Though he still lives in Boston, he's traveled back and forth from there to Pleasant Port on a weekly basis when he's off and she enjoys talking to him over the phone as well. Though she still gets bitter thinking about times missed with him, she likes the time they spend together now. Aside from that, she's been growing more anxious and nervous about the wedding. To unwind, she likes to go down and visit Farrah at the Sex Toy Shop and giggle about all the products. And also listen to Micah bitch about Jeffrey's new girlfriend, Karen. |
| Linda Davis |
Linda has been working increasingly more to try and save up money to help pay for Micah and Cassie's wedding. Most of the free time she's had has been spent helping plan the bridal shower and hanging out with John. Although they never talk about their relationship much, they spend much more time together recently and she has on occasion talked him into coming along to the family dinners with the Lewis'. He has also been invited to the wedding as her date. While Linda is pleased that her daughter and her father have been talking, Linda can't help but feel bad that Cassie seems to like to hang out with Jackson more than she does her. |
| Casey Donovan |
Casey started to attend regular meetings of the Out and Proud group. He once again picked up his summer sport of softball and has been fairly busy with that as well. Since the weather has warmed up he's began to spend most of his time on the weekends out on road trips on his bike. |
| Saleisha Factor |
With both Saleisha and her sister graduating, life seems to be looking up for the Factors. Belicia is slated to go off to MIT for the fall, but she was accepted into a special summer program and left early. With the apartment becoming empty and full of bittersweet memories, Saleisha reluctantly decided to move out of Pleasant Port as a means of getting a fresh start. She and Justin found an apartment in New Haven and moved in together. |
| Filo Felvish |
|
| Harry Gowan |
Finding it harder and harder to deal with his drug problem, being a father and husband, Harry finally confided in his brother in law about his problem and was quickly put in a rehab without his work knowing. It didn't help the situation that he didn't tell Muse that he was going to get help. Instead he left stating something about needing space for something relating to family and went back to England. In England he was officially diagnosed with PTSD along with trust issues stemming from the imprisonment in Russia. He recently returned on the 4th to Pleasant Port to try and pick up some pieces of his life. |
| Musette Gowan |
Muse wasn't too sure what to do with Harry. She had tried everything, but has now started going through the final poceedings of a divorce. It's the last thing she wanted, but since he has distanced himself from her so much to the point of them not talking, she just can't seem to find it in herself to try harder. She has found that spending time with Ethan has greatly reduced her distress. |
| Shawn Grayson |
|
| Ethan Hauer |
The thoughts about returning for another tour of duty is pushed aside for the time being and Ethan has stuck around to work at the community center, running a recreational basketball program for the kids in town. He also has done some odd jobs (banging nails mostly) for the construction company that Amy's uncle owns in Stanton Hills. And while not pressing, he has been doing some recruiting for the upcoming PPCC season, hoping to fill the holes in the roster left by some of the Class of '08 graduates. Lastly, Ethan has been spending some time with Musette Gowan, and though he struggles with how close he should allow himself to get given her situation, he is finding that he enjoys her company. |
| Allison Hodge |
|
| Lauren Jacobsen |
|
| Lucas Jenkins |
|
| Tim Jenkins |
Since Allison Hodge was back in town, Tim is completelly obsessed with her, without realizing that he's overwhelming the woman with his attitude. The fact that she seemed happy to see him in first instance, made Tim think that maybe she was back in town for him, and since then he has been finding excuses to spend time with her - at the same time she makes them to get away from him a little. He's getting jealous of all the people she sleeps with, even if they were never a serious couple.
About his sexuality, he's starting to assimilate that maybe he is, in fact, bisexual, since he has feel attracted to other men besides Ryan, even if having sex with somebody of his same gender have never crossed his mind.
|
| Ryan King |
While Ryan was upping his shifts as much as possible during Vicky’s pregnancy, but as they've been attempted to rekindle their romance he's cut back on doing so. Because of Victoria’s pregnancy, Ryan cancelled his usual summer trip back to Vancouver. He’s slightly bothered by having done so; it’s his first time since moving to the US that he hasn’t gone back for Canada Day. Despite this, he still celebrated with the girls, taking them to the baseball field and lighting off a round of firecrackers. |
| Victoria King |
|
| Martin Law |
|
| Adina Lewis |
Adina has spent the last few months developing her religous beliefs, primarily in Wicca, although she has been dipping her toes into many different belief systems. She structured her work schedule to allow her to attend a number of cultural and religeous seminars and conventions, all in the hope of finding some meaning in her life. Her postion at the club has been elevated slightly and she has enjoyed the challenges that the change brought and although she rather be focussing on her brother's wedding, the other troubles with her family keep her at the club more often than anywhere else. Adina has a strong disliking to Karen Simpson and her newfound beliefs do nothing to stop her from wanting the rip the woman's head off, Adina quickly observered that Karen is his father's equal in almost every aspect, the only difference being that she has even less right to comment on Micah, Cassie and Adina herself. She has considered however that if the similarities are too great then repulsion is a natural response, mainly fueled by bordom, unless Jeffrey and Karen embrace their natures together that is, should that happen Adina is at a loss for ideas as to what she would do. Adina is happy however with her brother and Cassie's upcoming wedding and has continued to do everything she can to help out, regardless of how it's recieved or the effect on the still rocky relationship with Micah. |
| Jeffrey Lewis |
At the end of May Jeffrey met a woman, Karen Simpson, while visiting his mother. The two instantly hit it off, sharing many similar beliefs in regards to the world. Since then they have begun dating, although for Jeffrey it is more out of a need for companionship than an attempt to replace Naomi. He doesn’t believe that Karen is in any way close enough to being a replacement for his wife. His involvement with Karen has lead to Jeffrey actually backing off in regards to his children, his opinions are still often made clear. Karen is even more vocal about her judgements of Micah and Adina, although Jeffrey has asked her to take it easy on Adina. Jeffrey has also begun exhibiting memory problems; while at work and occasionally with his children he has been scattered and forgetful. He has even forgotten to show up for dinner at Micah and Cassie’s place once. When questioned about this, Jeffrey always responds with anger, stating that he can’t be expected to remember everything, and he does have a life that does not revolve around his children. Following his conversation with Andrew Baker, Jeffrey has begun working on having a mausoleum built for his family. He hopes to have it completed, and Naomi’s body moved to it, before the wedding. In keeping with this, he has also begun planning his own funeral, to save his children from having to do so. He has also begun planning his mother’s, as he is certain that she won’t be around for much longer. |
| Micah Lewis |
The closer it gets to the wedding the more nervous Micah gets. While he’s not at all worried about the way things will be after he and Cassie get married – in fact, he’s rather certain that at first nothing will really change – he is nervous about the idea of standing in front of a large group of people to say his vows. He is also terrified about the idea of having to give a speech in front of everyone, and has begun spending much of his free time trying to work out the right wording for it. Asides from the speech, the wedding is almost entirely done. They’re down to getting the small things together and paying for it all. While he doesn’t want to admit it, Micah’s relieved that Linda’s been helping out a bit, and has even received some help from Jackson and, surprisingly, his father. Because of this, Micah’s begun to think about buying Cassie a special wedding present, although he isn’t sure what yet. Business at the Photo Studio has been doing really well, and Micah figures that once they’re finished paying off the wedding he’ll be able to begin working on buying his father’s share. In preparation for the time that he’ll need off for the wedding and honeymoon, Micah has hired Norah Parker and begun training her to do some of his work. He’s also been meaning to train Travis to do some extra stuff, but hasn’t had the opportunity to do so yet. Micah has met his father’s new girlfriend and has taken a disliking to her. He thinks that she embodies all of his father’s negative qualities and doesn’t feel like she has any right to judge him. He is also disturbed by how Jeffrey doesn’t even seem the slightest bit bothered by her judgements, and worries that Jeffrey might be trying to replace Naomi with her. He does believe that if his father continues seeing her, then his relationship with the man is going to become even more strained. |
| Corey Lindaugh |
The doctor is in! Corey finally begins his time at PPH as an ER attending. He enjoys having more time to himself with fewer required shifts, but he still tends to work over anyway. At the very least though, he's been able to invest more time into extracurricular activities, both at home and in the community. His interest in Brendan has deepened, and even though becoming intimate with him has been a challenge (and so far rather limited), Corey currently has no desire to date or see anyone else with a romantic intent. Corey has also continued his attempts to be an advocate of gay marriage and essentially gay rights as the election season moves forward. The relationship with Brendan does complicate matters as the last thing he wants to do is put the other man in danger again or make him feel uncomfortable. Corey knows that there are inherent risks in being so politically outspoken but he's frustrated with the rest of society's inability to see that who and what he is is normal. |
| Josh McKinnon |
Josh and his family joyfully welcomes his nephew Cody into the world on May 31 and for the next couple of weeks Mom Gabby and baby are the center of all the McKinnon attentions. Josh does manage to sneak off for a poker run along the eastern Connecticut countryside the following weekend. Father's Day is spent fishing with the family. Josh also hints to Luci that day that he'd love to have another child. Once things settle down, Josh and Luci load the kids up to vacation on Florida from June 17th to the 30th (doing the Disney World/Sea World/Universal Studios run). This includes staying several days visiting with Josh's parents in Georgia. For his birthday, Luci invites all of Josh's friends over for a backyard barbeque. |
| Amara McTeirnan |
|
| Luciana Moretti-McKinnon |
Gabby and Barry welcomed their new son, Cody Eoin Driscoll and just as she was taken with her own children when they were babies, Luciana finds herself in love with her nephew. His arrival instantly has her thinking about having another child, but she is also hesitant because that line of thinking always causes her guilt about the abortion to resurface. Luckily, there is plenty of other things going on to keep her mind occupied. Father's Day, the end of school year, the trip to Florida and Josh's birthday have all been enough to keep thoughts of trying for another baby in the background. |
| Fletcher Montgomery |
Fletcher took the fact that he is no longer dating Rylee as further verification that he was NOT boyfriend material. So for the past month, he has been whoring it up and being the slut that he is sure now that he was meant to be. There have been one night stands, also a reunion or two thrown in the mix. |
| Justin Parker |
With Saleisha graduating from community college and moving on - and their relationship getting deeper - he has moved to New Haven with her where they share an apartment. |
| Norah Parker |
After getting a job at the Photo Studio, both her father and her mother have gotten off her case about having her head in the clouds. She still paints, something she'll never give up, she's just been more discreet about it around them. She still hasn't found a date for the wedding, something that's been bothering her a lot more than it should. She's also had to come to terms with her brother moving out of town. |
| Georgina Patrick |
The coming of summer has also brought a bit of restlessness for Pleasant Port's resident Sexpert. Her visit to NYC at the end of May had her "homesick" for the social scene of the Big Apple. She has decided to stay in the city until September to decide if she wants to move back there permanently with Lara. While she still owns the Sex Toy Shop, obviously she can't be in two places at once. The best replacement she could find was none other than Farrah Covington. After getting fired from her Jewelry Store job, Georgina suggested her roommate manage the store. While all the details haven't exactly been ironed out, Georgina figures that if she does return to NYC permanently, she can make arrangements to sell the store to Farrah (or another interested party) as well as allow her to take over the lease of the apartment. |
| Luke Questal |
The return of Allison in town has helped Luke to fight some of the demons he had inside. He's still not doing drugs - with the exception of pot - and and he's still volunteering in AA.Not major changes for him, but he's slowly getting more civilized, and thinking twice before getting into trouble. You'd say he's slowly starting to act more like an adult, and less like a teen. |
| Elizabeth Reynolds |
|
| Shane Reynolds |
|
| Rylee Romsland |
After ending her relationship with Fletcher, Rylee started to date Alexander Stone. She has found the new relationship a breath of fresh air, being with someone who listens to her and cares for her feelings. While they both know there is a significant age difference neither has brought it up and she sees no need to. She's finished decorating her new house and has started to plant her own garden. She's working almost full time and feels content for the first time since her mother passed away.

| Miko Ronin |
|
| Estela Russell |
On June 25th, while she was visiting his brother, she had a silly fall in the stairs of his home and broke the tibia of her right leg. She's wearing a plaster cast since then, and has to wear it at least for four weeks (aprox July 23th), when she'll get another X-ray done to see if it healed. |
| Amy Salinger |
At the Memorial Day Reunion, Carrie invites Amy to visit California during the summer, and Amy decides to do so sooner rather than later. So on the first of June, she heads out west to spend time with Carrie, her fiance and Eliza, fully intending on returning to Pleasant Port after a week. While in California, she helps Carrie with a little wedding planning (not quite so extensive this time around), visits many of the Napa Valley wineries, treks to the Redwood forests and, of course, she takes her niece to DisneyLand. Towards the end of the week, her desire to wander gets the better of her and in an Into the Wild inspired move, Amy decides not to return home. Instead, she hops on a plane for a trip "backpacking" through Asia (China, Thailand, India, Vietnam), not telling anyone but Carrie (who is left to inform everyone else, especially when Amy forgets to take her Blackberry with her...something Carrie still contends was done on purpose). In her absence, Amy's parents returned to Pleasant Port to watch over the house (and poor, lonely Lady Dog who had been staying with Cole, Ethan and Jet). Despite being without a phone, she will occasionally drop her friends and family random postcards from her travels. And while she would have loved to continue them throughout the summer, Amy has agreed to return for July 4th, which also happens to be her parent's anniversary. Sure to be waiting for her? A Blackberry full of unanswered texts, voicemails and emails from all the tormented men in her life..... |

| Alexander Stone |
In the month since she asked him for a paternity test, Alex has done his best to avoid talking with Ricky. He has maintained contact with Connor, but the current situation has everything strained. In order to avoid having to get a paternity test, he has given up on his request that the boy spend his summer in Ireland. Expecting to have to deal with further legal costs in the near future Alex has decided to teach two summer school classes; one in the mornings and one in the afternoons. He is hoping to be able to go home for a visit once classes finish, but he isn’t positive that that will be able to happen. Even though he knows it’s wrong, Alex has begun a relationship with Rylee. He knows that there’s a sizeable age difference, but figures that since it doesn’t seem to bother her he won’t let it bother him. For the time being, he’s avoided actually introducing her to any of his friends, and hasn’t mentioned her to any of his family. |
| Billie Strummer |
Boring was just what the doctor ordered for Pleasant Port's most confused. Billie just never got it! She's kept her distance from her new Half sister so much that Billie fears now that Georgina is out of town that she had shoved her away. Her drinking has been spiralling some what yet her relationship with her stepfather is keeping her focused on her work. Will Laas flew out to see her and spent most of June with her trying to help pick up the pieces of her life. Now she just has the one thing she has to do more then anything else....see if her relationship with Georgina is savable. |
| William Talon |

| Brendan Wright |
Since their argument, Bren and Cole haven’t talked once. While he knows it’s probably childish to hold a grudge for long, Bren doesn’t really have any desire to fix things with the other man. He knows that once Amy shows up things will be worked out whether he wants to or not, but until then he’s not going out of his way. In the month that’s passed since their first date, he and Corey have begun to develop a relationship. While he rather likes the other man, the whole thing completely terrifies him. Corey is the most out guy he’s ever dated, a fact which completely unnerves Brendan. The two are also still having problems with intimacy, which only adds to Bren’s insecurities. He thinks it might just be a matter of time before Corey goes to find someone smarter and with less baggage. In addition to dating Corey, Brendan has continued going on dates with Estela. So far he's successfully avoided having to kiss her or anything, but he isn't sure how much longer he can pull that off. He knows he needs to come out to her... but he isn't sure how. In the beginning of June Sophia came to visit, and has all but out right moved in with Brendan. She’s been staying in the spare bedroom in the guest house. While Bren is happy to have her in town – especially given Amy’s recent disappearance – he’s also rather curious as to what’s going on. She won’t say why she’s in town, or how long she’s staying for.

| Misha Yumiko |
Keeping up on everything at the security company, Misha has overall had a good year thus far. Getting closer to a few people inparticular, she's been keeping out of trouble.....well, for the most part. |
| Jonathan Zimmerman |
After almost a year of struggling financially, John has finally almost gotten things together. With his excessive spending cut down a bit and the extra income of Luke’s rent, he is able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. As a result of this, combined with the fact that he was beginning to struggle from being over worked, he has cut back on some of his shifts. Things with Linda are still rather awkward. While the two of them spend a lot of time together – almost as much time as possible – they haven’t had an actual discussion about the status of their non-relationship. John still has no desire to sleep with other women, and is increasingly bothered by the idea of her sleeping with other men. Despite the fact that they haven’t discussed their non-relationship, John has begun going to family functions with Linda and is well aware of the fact that, as it stands, he is her date to her daughter’s wedding. The idea completely terrifies him. |
