What Happened During the Time Jump?
| Bliss Adair |
Meeting new people has been a plus for Bliss. She asked Fletcher out for coffee a week after meeting him due to her conversation with her cousin. She was glad she did, because she got to meet Scott and Travis because of it. The three seem to have a good time together and Scott and Travis have helped her with the renovations on her front lawn as far as landscaping go. She tries to help out any way she can, but the only way she has figured out how to do that is by making them lemonade. Her job has gotten a lot easier for her and she has it down pretty much to an artform. She's even learned some skills from the bartender, which she is impressed with. There is however something she doesn't know about, but she is going to find out very soon. |
Scott Archer
With his roomies gone, Scott moved in with Travis in January. He's thrilled to be living with his friend, though he's a little sad that Milo no longer has a nice yard to play in. He makes up for that fact though by taking his dog to the dog park whenever he can.

Vincent Ashmore
With his teaming with Alex, Ash has slowly begun to relax more and more in the role of teaching. He's never admitted that Alex scares him still but Ash looks up to him and respects him. Cole Cleyburne
After placing second in the Annual Winter Regatta, Cole and Ethan take a trip out to Colorado to go skiing. Unfortunately, Ethan's accident cut the trip short and put Cole in a caretaker's role for a few weeks until his friend was up and about. Logan visits during the last week of January and is introduced to Lauren. In early Feb. Cole meets Lauren's family. Valentine's Day marks the tenth anniversay of his father's death, and Cole takes it badly. He winds up isolating himself for the day drinking and is later found by Lauren and Amy passed out at the cemetery. For his troubles, he catches the flu which takes him a couple of weeks to get over. In March, Ethan leaves for Afghanistan---a decision that Cole supports even though he doesn't understand it. With him gone, Lauren becomes a fixture at the house. They spend a week in the Alleganies the last week of the month.
Much to his concern, he and Isabelle have continued to run into one another at various places. For the March production, he volunteers to help her build the set after her carpenter quit to help her out of a jam. He begins to suspect that some of these "bumping into one another" situations are intentional---but they are affecting him more than he'll admit. He continues to receive strange packages, letters, and e-mails from someone he thinks is playing with him from his past. The birthday party for Bren creates tension in their friendship as the younger man tells Cole he doesn't trust him---even calls him a terrorist. He tries to chaulk it up to the alcohol...but Bren's paranoia has him concerned. In April, he helps plan a surprise birthday party for Amy, then flies her to Boston to let her pick out her present and meet some of her friends from boarding school. Later that month, his unit practices deployment readiness drills and Cole is promoted to chief petty officer. He's offered a full-time position at the station in New Haven, but declines it. He, Lauren, and several friends attend the music festival that same month. In May, the start of softball practice occupies his time and he spends a lot of time swimming and running in preparation for it and the adventure race that is coming up. He participates in the opening ceremony of Fleet Week in NYC, but rushes home when he gets word that Ethan will be returning from deployment soon.

Travis Collins
When Ariel went out of town in January, Scott moved in. Travis kept in touch with Ariel, visiting whenever he was able to. After months of a long-distance relationship, though, the pair recently decided to put their relationship on hold for now and see where things stand when Ariel comes back to town. He is planning a week-long trip to New York so he can spend time with his friend Shaun.

Farrah Covington
After staying with Filo for a few days, Farrah happily moves in with Georgina. Even though Darnell tries to make up with her a few times, she won't have anything to do with him. In late January, she meets Ian Mace for the first time. As the weeks pass, Farrah's affections for her roommate grow, even though she doesn't confess them. Instead, they give each other freedom to see who they want---but always seem to wind up back together. In March, Farr invites Gigi to visit her mom in Atlantic City, but not before stopping off in NYC for a little belated birthday fun for Gi. Later that month, someone trashes her car and she's sure it was a drunk or drugged Darnell, but has no proof. She begins to spend a lot more time with Cassie, helping her plan the wedding---something she's becoming more and more excited about. About this time, Ian has worked his way into her small circle of friends. In April, she finally consents for her brother and his family to visit her. Among his attempts to make up with her, Charlie pays to have Farrah's car fixed. Even though she's yet to forgive him, the avenues of communication have opened. In early May, she convinces Travis to do a photo shoot (a surprise for Gigi) with her and schedules it for latter in the month. It's also about the time Farrah gets the shock of her life, when Ian confesses that he's an FBI agent working a case against Darnell and his suppliers. He asks her to help bring him down and although somewhat scared of being near her ex-roommate, its a way for her to get back at him and she reluctantly agrees.

| Nathan Covington |
The few months had been a busy whirlwind for Nathan as he had several projects at once and he had been very devoted to work. Despite the success he is experiencing in his business though, he is beginning to wish that he had someone to share his life with, because he couldn't help but feel somewhat empty. It had triggered him to make effort to reshuffle his priorities, reducing work commitments so he is able to savour life in all its beauty and richness. |
| Wes Covington |
It was not something Wes was used to, to stay at a particular place for so long, and during the past few months he had often felt the compulsion to pack up and go, run away. Which he had, going away for short trips by himself to nearby areas for a few days at a time. Eventually though, he still returned, a part of him undeniably attracted to the idea of having some place semi-permanent that he could call his own, someplace he could rest and retreat to as a safe and natural sanctuary. And what better place than the town he grew up in? Apart from that, he also enjoyed spending time exploring and reacquainting himself with his hometown, and occupying his time amply with art, women and sports, amongst other things, not necessarily in any order of priority.

Cassandra Davis
As months passed, and the closer that the wedding got, the more stressed out Cassie had become. Before, everything was all in theory. And the plan was just that, a plan. With it all quickly becoming a reality, she's grown more freaked out. Excited but still freaked out. She figured sharing the responsibility of planning with friends and family would make it all easier, but at the same time everyone thought something different about certain things. Since then, she has stuck to making decisions only with Micah. Farrah and Cassie have started to spend more time hanging out together within the last few months, and she intends to ask her to be the maid of honour. Even though she never smoked a lot to begin with, Micah has convinced her to stop when he randomly decided to quit. It has worked for her so far, but when she drinks she still gets cravings for nicotine.

Belicia Factor
Saleisha Factor
Saleisha's New Year has been a myriad of ups and downs, most stemming from her attempts to cope with Tatiana's death. Diego moved south to Georgia to stay with her aunt and uncle and after years of staying away from most illegal drugs and trying to stay on the right track, Saleisha had given into the temptation as a means to feel numb. This landed her in deep trouble with the the basketball team, leading to her suspension from practice and play for a week. A second positive drug test would've had her kicked off the squad and her place at Hartford placed in jeopardy but luckily all Saleisha needed was the one incident to wake her up. The basketball team had failed to qualify for districts and have any shot of moving on to the national tournament and the rest of the spring was spent getting Belicia prepped for her upcoming year at MIT. She had dragged Justin and Lucas with them for the quasi road trip. With summer approaching, Saleisha has broached the subject of moving in together with Justin.

Shawn Grayson
With his team finally all assembled, Shawn has been busy getting a reputable business set up in Pleasant Port. He's met with a few people like Micah Lewis and set up a business package for them on the security of their places but Shawn is getting rather itchy to do what he really came to town to do. He's however gotten himself set up as beneficiary for the Factors after meeting Belicia at the Photo Shop. Learning about the death of her mother and siblings, Shawn has begun to use some of the money he makes to keep them a float by giving them money orders secretly for about of 700 every week.

Ethan Hauer
In early January, Ethan and Cole went for a skiing trip in Colorado where he took an unfortunate tumble down one of the advanced slopes and fractured several ribs. While Ethan recovered, Amy assisted him with his coaching duties for the basketball team. He seemed to be well on the way to mending and gingerly returned to the job by mid February. The real test was when he returned to reserve duty for the first time, but after working the kinks out of his rusty body, he got through it. Ethan's recovery efforts were also helped by making plans with Cole and Amy to participate in a New England adventure race taking place later on in the summer, forcing them all to become serious about getting and staying in shape. The up and down basketball season concluded with PPCC failing to qualify for districts (and have a shot at making it to the NJCCA tourney) for the first time since Ethan took over as coach. With nothing else on his plate, Ethan surprised his friends when he announced that he had volunteered to be activated for a contingency (or tour of duty), something he had been thinking about since his unusual encounter with Bren. He was deployed to Afghanistan in early March once he was medically cleared and has been keeping in touch while he's been away. He's expected to return sometime around Memorial Day if all goes well.

| Isabella Hogan |
Isabella hasn't really been doing anything out of the norm. She has been a chronic work-a-holic. It seems like these days, all of her time and energy is devoted to putting together the show at the theatre. Isabella has also been finding herself in some awkward instances with Cole. It seemed like wherever she went, he was there. After her carpenter quit on her a few weeks before the show, Isabella went to Cole ask for help. Much to her excitement, he agreed to help. Lately, Isabella can be seen helping Luci with her ball game. They have been practicing frantically in hopes of turning Luci into the next great softball player. They are currently trying to work out the kinks in her game. In early April, Isabella received a call from her agent. Apparently an up and coming director wants her for his next biopic production. Isabelle hasn't said yes nor has she said no. This could indeed be the chance of a lifetime for her. She is currently still in talks with her agent.

Lauren Jacobsen
Lauren is still dating Cole happily. She meets his brother at the end of January and they visit her parents in early February. Her sister, Isabel, has been spending less and less time at the house and makes it seem that she has plans to move out by the end of the year. Lauren is saddened when she doesn't know where Cole is on Valentine's Day. Her and Amy find him at the cemetery passed out that night. Her time during these months is split between spending time with Cole when she can and working.
| Lucas Jenkins |
Lucas started another job in February to keep his mind off of everything. Thankfully he did as he learnt about Justin moving in with his girlfriend. He wasn't very happy about it, but figured that if he really cared about Justin as much as he thought he did, he needed to let him be with her. Even if Justin didn't know about Lukes feelings. Theother job has helped and he has upgraded some things in the house, and has been able to start supporting himself. Justin and Saleisha invited him to go with them on a trip, in which her little sister Belicia is coming along. It has made Lucas very nervous. |

Ryan King
Following his penile fracture, Ryan’s relationship with his wife has changed rather drastically. While he still desires his wife, memories of the pain are rather strong, causing him to shrink away from being intimate with her. To make things worse, soon after the accident they discovered that Victoria is pregnant with their third child. Ryan’s fears and Victoria’s hormones have caused strains in their relationship to develop. Because of the stress, Ryan has resumed smoking again, although he does his best to hide it from his family.
| Victoria King |
Victoria has been rather moody lately. Her lack of physical contact with her husband has caused her to become edgy and angry. She has become also rather resentful and bitter towards him. She has sent the children to stay with her parents a lot, in fear that they will hear the arguments between herself and Ryan. If she is not with the kids, she is working at the store or hanging out with Patricia. She continues to vent to her about her feelings toward her husband. She still loves him yet feels completely estranged from him. Her pregnancy has been quite rocky, filled with a lot of stress and back aches. The child has also been rather active which is taking a physical toll on Victoria's petite body.

Jeffrey Lewis
The limited attempts that Jeffrey made to develop a better relationship with his children began to crumble following the new year. While Jeffrey isn’t as detached from them as he once was, and still keeps up with family dinners, he no longer refrains from passing judgement on them in any way. He is particularly critical of Micah and Cassie’s wedding plans, thinking that they’re going about it completely the wrong way. Whenever he sees them planning something that he especially dislikes, he simply states “your mother wouldn’t like that”. He isn’t really sure how he feels about the wedding in general – he likes Cassie, not that he would ever admit it, but still doesn’t think his son is worthy of her.
Micah Lewis
Following his panic attack Micah’s fears about death and old age have grown. For awhile afterwards he attempted to quit smoking – even going so far as to get Cassie to quit with him – but the stress of planning the wedding and dealing with his father quickly made him start again. Even though the wedding is only three months away, Micah fears that due to the numerous opinions of family and friends he and Cassie aren’t going to have the wedding they want. A Vegas wedding is beginning to look good, and Micah has (semi-jokingly) suggested eloping. Without Cassie knowing it, Micah has begun talking with Linda about her father possibly coming to the wedding.

Corey Lindaugh
Corey eventually settled in as Chief Resident and decided that the administrative role suited him. He enjoyed working more closely with the attending staff and became excited as he contemplated his future. As of May, he has applied for several attending positions, including at Pleasant Port Hospital and also some hospitals in New Haven, Rochester and, surprisingly, New York City. With the hospital fiscal year coming to an end, he'll need to make a decision about his future. Corey is also putting the finishing touches on the house that he shares with sister Connie. As he's thinking about where he's going to end up with his job prospects, Corey is also toying with keeping the house if he stays in Pleasant Port, instead of the usual selling once it's been 'flipped'. He has become more attached to it than any other project in the past. Additionally, Corey has also been closely following the "Proposition 8" controversy in California, something that hits close to home even as he lives in a state that allows same sex marriage.

Fletcher Montgomery
Once Maddy moved to California and took Tabitha with her, Fletcher instantly worked on getting his daughter back. Luckily, Maddy soon came to her senses and the pair now alternate months that they have Tabitha: he gets her odd months (started in March) and Maddy gets her in even months. It's not enough for Fletcher, but he's dealing with it for the time being, but he hopes that Maddy will move back to Pleasant Port so he can see his daughter more often. Not wanting to miss Easter with his daughter - especially her first - Maddy came and spent Easter with him and his family. While that made for some awkwardness, he chose to focus his attention on Tabitha.

Justin Parker
Justin graduated from college and instantly began to work full-time with his father at the Leisure Club and is already worried about the time it takes away from Saleisha, now that they no longer attend college together. He is going to be moving in with her, probably in June.

Georgina Patrick
Lara has remained away with increasing frequency, leaving Georgina to believe that a permanant move to NYC is imminent. In fact, Lara barely bat an eyelash when Georgina asked if it was okay for Farrah to stay with them after the ordeal with Darnell. Even with Lara's room available, Farrah has spent most of her time sleeping in Gigi's bed anyway, with the two being intimate as often as they can stand. But they've never spoken of exclusivity or even a full blow relationship, despite their obvious mutual affection for one another. As a belated birthday celebration, Gigi and Farrah took a trip to NYC and then Atlantic City in March. In other matters, Georgina and Billie eventually learned that they are half sisters and both women are still struggling to come to terms with the news.

Luke Questal
After being raped at the beginning of the year for three gay guys when he was traveling to Vegas, he spent a couple of months having sex with as many women as possible, in an attempt to delete from his system the fact that men abused him. It was on March when he began to realize that all that sex had only been a way to cover something that had been killing him inside, and aware of the fact that he wasn't able to forget about the bad experience, he talked about it with his councelior in AA, who recommended Luke a good shrink that helped him overcome it. Even if he isn't fully recovered from the rape psychological after-effects, he's doing pretty well at the moment.
Also, being considered recovered from his drug addiction (he hasn't been taking drugs for half a year now), he has been accepted to volunter in AA to help people who are having problems with substance abuse, giving them his testomony and help them overcome their problem.

| Estela Russell |
Attending the wedding of a childhood friend on may made her realize that she was starting to be one of the few people his age that keeps being single and without a boyfriend. She was aware of that before, but it didn't hit him hard until now. She still doesn't want to have a boyfriend, and relationships scare her, but spending all that time alone at home in weekends is not her idea of having fun - at this age it's hard to find somebody to hang out with, and all her friends are married and have a family to spend time with so they can't go as wild as they used to go back then. She has been pretty depressed about it, even if she doesn't talk about it to anybody.

Amy Salinger
Amy's time has been passed by delving into a full plate of responsibilities. Until about mid February when Ethan was finally well enough from his skiing accident, she was helping him coach on top of juggling teaching, her graduate studies, getting back into shape and the rather confusing “no feelings” relationship with Alex with whom she also had to teach). By St. Patrick's Day, she finally pressed him for something more and was disappointed to learn that he could not give it to her. Regrettably, Amy felt she deserved more and decided to end it. Outside of working together, Amy has tried to avoid him and she attempted to fall back into her reflective, hermit like ways. Her friends and family all refused to let her be successful in that regard. In April, she was thrown a surprise 30th birthday party, and for spring break she visited South Africa. Eventually Amy decided that she needed to get back into the dating game. Most of her dates so far have been comically tragic, leading Amy to believe that her love life is doomed. With Memorial Day approaching, Amy is dreading the family “reunion” event held each year at her maternal grandparents home in Vermont. Steven Villard, her very married ex-boyfriend who still occasionally professes his “love” for her, will be there.

Alexander Stone
While Alex enjoyed working with Amy at the college, the differences in their teaching styles has lead him to decide to never teach with someone else again. He is, however, beginning to look into doing courses of his own at the college – the level enthusiasm of college students really appealed to him. His relationship with Amy continued for awhile, but in mid-March he proved to be unable to make the commitment that she needed. While he misses her, he is pretty sure it’s just her company and friendship that he misses. He isn’t sure how to go about fixing things, nor is he sure if he can. Having Ash as his student teacher has worked out well for him – the boy hasn’t pulled any real stunts in Alex’s classes, and his teaching style has confirmed Alex’s belief that he’ll be a great teacher some day.

Brendan Wright
Despite the fact that numerous people have tried to convince him that he isn’t being stalked, Brendan’s paranoia has not decreased. He goes to therapy more, but rarely actually talks and has not been taking his medication. While he still hangs out with Cole he is constantly on alert with his friend and still thinks that he might be a terrorist. His 30th birthday was relatively tame; while there was a party, his paranoia prevented it from being anything too huge, just drinks with some friends. In a moment of intoxication, explained to Cole, in great detail, just why he doesn’t think that the other man is trust worthy. The events of that night didn’t decrease his paranoia, but did make his crush on Cole worse, leading to even more confusion about the situation.
