Scott's beginning to notice that Fionn isn't spending as many nights at the house. Even though he's happy for his friend, he misses him dearly. He has also taken Maddy in now that she has broken up with her boyfriend. |

The holidays always get Ash down due to his not having any family to be with. So instead he took some extra time at the base with some friends. He's also still unsure about his new teaming with Alex in teaching after all he's got one last chance to 'behave' or he'll have to wait another semester to graduate from college due to having to repeat his student teaching. So he's decided to toe the line at least at the school. However as he's got Christmas to get over with, so he may just do some pool shooting in the basement or try to sleep of the rest of his 'mono'...at least until the Holidays are over. |

Fletcher and Maddy broke up, which absolutely crushed her. She and her daughter Tabitha moved in with Scott and Fionn, and she's happy. She'd be happier if she would have stayed with Fletcher, but for now, she has a broken home. She has enrolled in college, and will begin in the spring semester. |

Cole spent Thankgiving with his mom in Charleston, but with the heightened threat level his CG unit is on standby and he couldn't make Christmas (they were ordered to stand down a week prior). He's already done his weekend reserve duty for December. The store has been typically busy for the holiday season as well. The weather has kept him from working too much on The Lighthouse, so he's spent most of his downtime with his friends. He and Ethan have decided to throw a Xmas Eve party, so he's been busy with that as of late. |

After Micah's mother's funeral, Travis drove Ariel to the hospital and found out that she had gallstones. She was kept there at the hospital for two and a half weeks, where Travis stayed with her the first day or two, taking off from the diner and the Fun Bar. After that, he went to visit her when he could. Once she was home, Travis visited her, called her to check on her, ran errands and did things around her apartment. They discussed moving in together since they were already partially moved in. A lot of nights they stayed over the other's apartment. Travis officially moved in with her in early December. While his mother adores Ariel, she's not too thrilled with her son 'living in sin' (despite the fact that Nicolette is no angel herself). Taken more responsibility at the Photo Studio, Travis quit working at The Wheelhouse Diner. |

After learning that his old girlfriend has been living in Pleasant Port for over a year, Thad finally ran into her after taking his dog for a run. However when she informed him of having a son with her, Thad refused to accept it and demanded a Paternity test to see if the boy was actually his. He's kept his head pretty much down after that meeting not informing others at the station about his problems. After all they have other problems to deal with not his. However the desire to burn himself has also returned with the fears of being a father. |

Cassie's been slightly worried about Micah over the last few months. After his mother's death the the both of them did a good job, most of the time, of pretending that nothing was different. Which left her thinking that he didn't really get to grieve. Since he bought the Photo Studio and started working more, she's taking up a new hobby of cooking. Or, trying to cook. She's also gotten back into her old routine of going out at least once a week for a drink or two. It took a while to get her back into her mother's shop, but her hair is back to it's natural color. |

Linda took the incident with John as some sort of jab at her, though deep down she knows that it had nothing to do with her at all. She just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Even though it pissed her off, she's glad she happened to be there. And she still hasn't completely forgiven him for it even if they still talk when he comes into the shop. Her free time has been spent between drinking, a lot, and working out, a lot. Jackson and her still keep in touch though she hasn't told Cassie about it yet. |

Michel has pretty much been his usual self. He's in a relationship with Jo and glad she doesn't seem to want to push it to become anything serious. He likes her a lot, and love whatever it is that is going on between them. As long as they don't start labeling it. |

As time went by, Leon doesn't feel like he's waking up from a dream every morning, but the whole situation of having his daughter back still feels new to him. He's been trying to be nice to Julia, but still fears she's a little unstable, ready to flee at any wrong word he speaks. Most the time when he's not working he's now either with Cian or Lia, and he haven't touched his camera or his watches in a few months. He doesn't care, though. |

It turned out that Belicia's intuition about her mother's health was spot on. On a visit to the doctor in early November, Tatiana was told that her cancer returned, only this time it is more aggressive and she is now suffering from related complications. The prognosis was not good and her condition is believed to be terminal. At the time, the doctors predicted that she had less than two months to live. Now her treatment is centered less on curing her and more on providing quality of life while she is still alive. Tatiana's condition strains the relationship between the siblings, as even though she has gained early acceptance to MIT (and this bodes well for acceptance to the other colleges to which she has applied), Belicia is now considering staying close to home. Saleisha has been adament that she not do that. |

Her mother's diagnosis has been especially difficult for Saleisha as she now feels even more pressure to alter her future plans, knowing that when (there is no if) Belicia goes away for college, there's still Diego to worry about. While Belicia and Diego have both been openly emotional about the ordeal, Saleisha has essentially willed herself not to break down in front of anyone and refuses to talk about her mother's impending death. She turns to the other areas of her life - work, school, basketball, her growing relationship with Justin - to help her cope. |

Running into her ex-boyfriend was definately not the highlight of November but it allowed Viv to get some things off her chest mainly the fact that Thad had fathered her son T.C. Thad of course denies that he is the father of her son and insisted on a DNA test being taken. So to prove herself Viv and Thad went to the hospital to have the test taken now the pair is simply waiting for the results to come in. |

Despite Oliver's jealousy, Carol has become good friends with Kevin, and developed a slight crush on him. She's pretty sure it's a platonic thing, but it bothers her nonetheless. She's also become friends with Noah, and it's easy to have a good time with him as Brittany and Cam play together. After her mother died from cancer, she's been quieter, and still unsure about how to talk to her brother about all that they have to deal with. She doesn't want to deal with her marriage crisis, so she finds herself more confortable around her friends, specially Noah. |

Around the end of November, Robert spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Ben and his family. He really enjoyed Ben's aunt and uncle and would like to schedule visits more often. As December rolled around Robert found himself missing a number of people that moved away during the year. His sister, for one, and Gavin Jenkins. He also missed Lily and watching her. With that in mind, he's been secretly looking up and finding information about adoption rules in Connecticut. |

The basketball season so far has been up and down, with the team having amassed a record of 8-4. The team's been struggling to adjust to the fallout from Saleisha's ongoing situation. Even though she has still played as a means to deal with it, it's obvious that she's distracted. She's been taken out of the point guard position in lieu of Adrienne and moved to the shooting guard shot. She's extremely effective and it takes the pressure of Saleisha to run the offense. The team is currently on break until after the holidays and Ethan is greatly looking forward to some down time. He's already spent his one weekend during the current month in the reserves so now he's just trying to decide when and if he's going to go south to visit his father and brothers.

After overcoming the depression that affected him since February because Allison leaving Pleasant Port, Tim came back to being his normal self, hanging out often at night and interacting with new people. On November 24th he met Luciana Duarte while both of them were jogging at the boardwalk, and they planned to meet again that same night, when they went bowling together. From there things went pretty fast fast, and on December 1st Tim asked her out. Since then they're dating. |

Annoyed with the fact the police suddenly seemed too interested in his crimes, Gil decided he'd better stick to his aeromodels for a while. He likes the cold weather, so it's easier to get him in a good mood during this time. He has done a few jobs out of town, and took Colin with him in some of them. He's still thinking about leaving Pleasant Port, specially now that he has jobs again, and it's hard to lay low in a town as small as that one. |

At the insistence of his wife and daughters Ryan quit smoking. He isn't particularly happy about it and still insists on carrying a pack of cigarettes and goes to smoke then several times a day. One of the biggest things that has kept him from slipping despite this is the fact that he taped a picture of his family to the pack to remind him of why he's doing it. Because he works Christmas Day, Ryan and the girls flew back to Vancouver to celebrate Christmas with his family for a couple days, returning to Pleasant Port on the 23rd. |

Before the holidays hit like a tidal wave and it was too late to do anything, Victoria put up a help wanted sign in the All About Kids window and eventually hired another person to help out with the busy seasons to come. The family went to Canada to visit with Ryan's family in December and returned on the twenty-third. Now she's been busy and running around like crazy to get everything ready for when they all celebrate at home. |

In order to deal with his wife’s death, Jeffrey has thrown himself into his work. He spends long hours at the office and almost as many going over the books for the Photo Studio. When Micah approached him about buying the Studio he was hesitant, but after the boy wrote up a business proposal he agreed to be a silent partner and front the money. Jeffrey thinks this venture will be good for the boy and while he hasn’t said as much to Micah he’s proud of his son, possibly for the first time in the boy’s life. |

After Dana and Brian moved out of town Micah was given the opportunity to buy the Photo Studio. Because he didn’t have the funds to do so completely on his own, he approached his father about it. Jeffrey agreed to enter into business with his son, acting as a silent partner and the two took ownership of the studio by the beginning of December. By throwing himself into this business venture Micah has succeeded in almost completely avoiding dealing with his mother’s death. At his insistence his family has continued to have weekly dinners, usually held at his and Cassie’s apartment. |

Christian has been away at rehab to make himself sober again. It was a tough journey but he is back, hair cut short clean shaven but has he changed his attiude? We shall see.

Colin has enjoyed his time alone while his dad has been in therapy. He's spent time doing whatever he wants to, not taking responsibility for the house, and spending time learning from Gil.

She was offered a gig to be a reporter at the latest X-Games but had to decline after spraining her ankle while snowboarding in the forest. She's passed her exams, barely though she discovered that one class didn't fall into assisting her in getting her degree and she is forced to take another science class. She had Thanksgiving with her brothers which led to a rather interesting night out on the town. Thankfully they are remaining in Pleasant Port until after New Years. Now if she could simply work her new school scheduele to get a chance to breath between work and school. Mara has also been debating on cutting her hours at the hotel if she is unable to get some more time offf. |

Fletcher and Maddy broke up, and she moved out of the house, telling him he will never see their daughter again. He's hoping that the words were just said in anger and he will be able to see her soon. Also started working at the Sex Toy Shop. |

After getting to know Saleisha better, they are now dating. He's hoping that their relationship works better than his last ones have. He's also been gaining more responsibility at the Leisure Club. |

Lara invested in the venture as a silent partner, but she's been spending a lot of time away in NYC working with a seasonal Broadway show. This has left the apartment feeling empty and Georgina looking for ways to curb her loneliness. |

Henry's been a mess. He misses Adela and has been trying to at least be her friend. He believes it all happened at the wrong time, and maybe some time later she can change her mind. The murders have been keeping him busy, though there hasn't been any other victim. Rather, the frustration has been keeping him busy enough, along with working with Talon to see if they can figure something out. His ex-wife gave him some information about a few investigations in L.A. that had something to do with burnt fingertips, so he's been working on that. He hasn't told Kaitlin about his discoveries, though he's not too sure why not. He met Vivienne one time when he went to pick up his sister at work for dinner, and though he thought about telling Thad about it, he decided to just keep an eye on him and see if he can find out if there's something going on. |

His mom's death on December 15th didn't come as a surprise. Luke still haven't talked to Carol about what they're going to do with her place, but right now he's interested in selling it so he can get part of the money and pay all his debts. During these two months, Luke continued attending his weekly drug rehab sessions, making it though another two months without getting ecstasy inside his system. After offering John to take care of his place while he was at the psychiatric instritution, Luke slowly got integrated into his friend's home until he moved in there, which solved part of his economical issues.

Early in November, after two years of writing her column, Amy decided to quit her job at the Pleasant Port Post. This has freed up time to focus on other projects. Along with looking into plans for pursuing her doctorate, she and Alex also were able to finish their proposal for their Bible as Literature course. After a presentation to the cirriculum committee, they were given the the OK to teach the course for the spring semester and the success of the collaboration convinced Amy that they could work well together. Since Thanksgiving and the news of his failed relationship with Jackie, she has been trying find ways to keep him occupied so that he doesn't think about it too much. The added time spent with him continuously challenges her previous reservations about the possibility of a relationship between them. As much as she tries to push those thoughts aside, it's quite clear that she cares for him and spending time with him makes her happy. |

For the first few weeks of November Alex threw himself into his work, especially in regards to the class with Amy, as an attempt to distract himself from Jackie’s prolonged absence. While celebrating the acceptance of the Religious Literature course with Amy Alex noticed that he is attracted to her, which greatly unnerved him. For Thanksgiving Alex went to California to spend some time with Jackie, only to have his heart broken when she decided that she didn’t want to continue their relationship. As a result, Alex has become rather jaded, especially in regards to relationships and his religion. Since returning he’s been doing his best to ignore his attraction for Amy, attributing it to a rebound crush. Following the trouble that Ash got into after his Civil War night lock in the school Alex took the boy on as his student teacher. |

She's been training tattooist and peircers for nearly the entire month. However life at the shop has been problematic while she learns that some of the codes aren't up to speck any more and they have gotten a bit to much business for it's current building. Now she's torn with looking for a new store front or expanding out the back. |

Holidays bring out the more interesting moments for the Talon family. His sister returned to claim the cat he hates and Talon was surprised by having his old FBI friends stop by for Thanksgiving and spoke to his classes instead of giving an exam. He was also informed by Quinn of her feelings for him, but when he didn't know what to say about them, he was surprised that she left town. Still he's working with the police on some cases and still teaching. However his teaching is on the rocks due to the working with the police and his mother is slowly going down hill, leaving the Talon siblings in disagreement about either putting her in a nursing home or leaving her to live peacefully in her home. |

Jenka spent her birthday and the month after with a nasty case of pnemonia, and then bronchitis. Since she found out that Tim was dating someone else, she retreated back into the shell that she once was. |

Julia has been trying to make amends with Leon, and has thrown herself into working at the community center. Lia has been staying at his house every other weekend. |

After his failed suicide attempt John spent a month in a psychiatric institution recovering. The stay put him on the path of recovery; through large amounts of therapy he has come to terms with his mother’s death and, in some ways, his bisexuality. He isn’t ready to come out of the closet, but he’s at least gotten over the fears of God hating him. Since leaving therapy, John has been leading a semi-celibate (which has been successful only due to large amounts of masturbation) and semi-sober life, even going so far as to going to church on a regular basis. He has also been trying, rather desperately, to make amends with Linda. In order to do this he has been going to Mirage at least once a week; his hair is now shorter than it’s been in years, excellently groomed, and has gone through numerous colour changes in the past couple weeks. Realizing that if he gets too many more haircuts he is going to run out of hair, John has recently made the decision to start waxing body parts instead. At the beginning of December he resolved many of his financial issues by having Luke move in. |
