• Is, in many ways, the opposite of his wife. Where she appears carefree and easy going, he is rigid and uptight. Is rather close minded and rarely open to new ideas.

• Grew up in Bellevieu.

• Stepfather was a dominating force and enjoyed picking on his stepson.  The more Stewart refused to stand up for himself, the more he was bullied.
  
• When he graduated he moved to Pleasant Port for school.  Shortly after he met Kayla, who he immediately began to pursue.
  
• Worked in the bank, but left it to buy a farm with Kayla. When his father died he had received a small inheritance that was held in trust.  He put this towards the farm and stable, leaving barely enough left over to help the family, short term, if the business failed.
• Kayla's brother moved in with them after a gay bashing.  Was supposed to be temporary, but it became permanent
  
• After his son was born, he decided that he was fine with not having more childrn, even though he knows that Kayla wants them
