Shane stands 6’2 inches and is rather on the lanky side. Though he is lanky, he has quiet a bit of muscle on him and is a lot stronger than he looks. He can thank his job for the muscle he does have. His hair is usually messy and he often wears a hat to make up for his lack of styling or brushing of it. He dresses casually, usually in jeans and t-shirts. He doesn’t care about style, he just likes to wear what is comfortable. Two of his most distinctive features are his blue eyes and bone structure. He hates looking in mirrors, which is another reason why he wears hats, to avoid looking at himself.

Shane is best described as being a smart ass. Despite his lack of having an internal block and saying whatever is on his mind he’s generally well liked. His charm is what has probably saved him from getting his ass kicked time more than a few times. He tends to have a smile on his face and has the ability to break tension and put people at ease. He thinks of himself as slightly awkward and uses his humour to avert attention away from his less desirable traits.

Even though he’s generally care free and joking around he sometimes slips into darker moods, which his wife refers to as his brooding moments. He’s had the moods for as long as he can remember and figured it stems back from the pressure he felt from his parents growing up. So far the only person who seems to break him out of his black moments is Elizabeth. When he’s in these moods he locks himself in his garage and works on his cars, a hobbie his dad passed onto him during his childhood. He doesn’t very often lose his temper, but when it does it can be quite ugly.

People assume because of his confidence that Shane is arrogant and cocky. Neither is true. In fact he uses his air of confidence to cover up what he really feels about himself. He’s not very confident, something even his wife doesn’t know. He can be a bit of a flirt, but it never goes beyond that. Cheating isn’t even in his train of thoughts. Over all he’s a good guy who would go out of his way to help and give you the shirt off his back.

Personal History

Shane was born on a sunny spring day to Marie and Cameron Reynolds. He’s the youngest of three children, his older brother, Cameron Jr, is four years older than him and his sister, Emily, is two years older than him. His dad worked, and still works, as an architect and his mom as an elementary school teacher. He had a normal childhood for the most part; fighting with his siblings as well as his parents, participating in sports, and having family dinners every Sunday night, a tradition that still lives on although the children have grown up and moved out.

All throughout elementary and high school Shane played sports, though he never really excelled at anything. He found himself tripping over his own feet, but continued to play because he had fun. His dad had a tendency to push him, telling him he should be able to do better, that his older brother was good at soccer and baseball. Shane grew to resent being compared to others, though never hated his brother or father for it. He knew his parents just wanted him to be the best he could be.

Shane was a good student and all the way through high school he maintained straight A’s, except for in gym when he was never got higher than a C plus. When he was around fourteen years old he first became interested in becoming a firefighter after being given the opportunity to go on a call with the local fire department. His parents on the other hand wanted him to get into a more stable career. When he was sixteen he made a promise to them that he could go to college and get an education, but he was still going to pursue a career in the fire department.

When Shane was seventeen his entire world changed when he set eyes on Elizabeth Reynolds at a bus stop one morning. He had seen her around school, but had never bothered to get to know her. The morning they first met he knew he had to be with her, and soon after the two started to date. He became aware of her horrible home situation and wanted to save her from it. He knew by the time they were eighteen he was going to spend the rest of his life with her.

Right after they graduated he moved into a small apartment with Elizabeth. He worked a part time job bagging groceries while he attended the community college to get his degree in accounting, just like he had promised his mom and dad. At twenty years old he and Elizabeth got married, eloping to Las Vegas to approve disapproval from their parents. When they returned home neither family was happy about them getting married so young, but it was legal and nothing was going to change it.

Shane kept his end of the deal after he graduated from college. He started his training as a fire fighter, finding muscles he never knew even existed. He landed himself a job at the fire station and recently he and Elizabeth bought their own home, with his parents helping them with their down payment.
