Never Wears: There isn’t really anything he would never wear, especially when it comes to a dare or bet.  But he isn’t a fan of lace – while he likes the feel, he thinks it’s a bit too emasculating

The best word that can be used to describe Sean is small.  Standing at 5’6 Sean is both scrawny and short, a fact that has annoyed him for most of his life.  This lacking in a physical presence was the pushing force behind Sean’s dominating personality – as a young child, he quickly realized that if he didn’t do something to make himself known by the world, he would be constantly overlooked by those bigger than him.  As a result, despite his short stature Sean has a dominating presence.  His outlandish behaviour ensures that attention is always paid to him, and due to an occasionally eccentric wardrobe he ensures that he’s always easy to locate in photos.

The most prominent feature of his face, asides from his thick eyebrows, are his eyes.  They’re a pale blue and rather expressive; usually it’s rather easy to read his emotions by looking into his eyes.  When he smiles, which is often, his whole face brightens and his eyes appear to shine.  Sean rather likes his smile, his lips are rather thin, and years of braces, followed by an intense regime of Crest White strips have given him dazzling, straight teeth.  As if fuelled by his personality, Sean’s brown hair is rather wild – often he looks like he’s just crawled out of bed or been exposed to a particularly strong wind.  When he has time he’ll attempt to do something with it, to get at least most of it flat, but usually he’s too lazy to do so.  More often than not, he’ll just leave it as is or cover it up with a hat.  Similarly, he’s rather relaxed in his dress.  While he’s been known to completely go all out, wearing nice suits and ties to the most casual of events, and has even been known to iron his underwear – although, he swears it was just the once – on a day-to-day basis, Sean’s more likely to just wear a pair of jeans – old, and faded, although never torn – and a t-shirt accompanied by one of the many jackets that he owns.

While he places great value on physical appearance, Sean doesn’t always take care of his own appearance.  He is a metrosexual in many degrees – Sean understands fashion, loves shopping, and even waxes his back and gives himself manicures – his lazy attitude in life contradicts his narcissism.  He is prone to appearing unkept and dishevelled because shaving takes too long, and has been known to wear whatever shirt “smells the least bad”.

Personality

 In many ways Sean is a lost child, a modern day Peter Pan refusing to grow up.  He is prone to periods of immaturity and irresponsibility, where as far as he’s concerned even the most outlandish idea is both ingenious and completely plausible.  Possessing great leadership skills, Sean likes to be the guy in charge, the guy with the plan.  However, most of his plan’s fall through, usually being discarded as soon as something else captures his interest.  Whenever one of his plans does come through, Sean is quick to take credit for the entire scheme, ignoring all others who helped make it possible.  That is, assuming things go well.  Any hitches are quickly blamed on someone else.  In Sean’s mind while he is capable of wrong doing usually it’s someone else’s fault.

This arrogance takes firm in other aspects of Sean’s personality as well.  He is extremely vain, to the point that he believes he is one of the most attractive persons around.  In order to ensure that others think so as well, he surrounds himself with friends who he considers to be less intelligent and attractive than he is so that, in comparison, he’s always the best.  He will even admit as much to some – those he considers his equals – and goes so far as to refer to his best friend as his purse, he’s the accessory that Sean keeps around to make him look better.

Like many guys his age, Sean loves to party.  With his backwards priorities he has been known to blow off school, work, and his family, for a chance to get drunk and have some fun.  In his mind, he’s only going to be young once, everything else can wait.  As a result of this, he is chronically late for work, and rarely shows up to his classes.  He does succeed in getting passing grades, but rarely are they actually good ones.  Sean is intelligent and capable of doing well, both in life and school, on the rare occasions that he actually makes an effort to do so.

Despite the numerous flaws of his personality, Sean has surprising success with winning people over.  He’s immature and irresponsible, but he’s also charming.  He is a fun guy and great to be around – even the people who he annoys often end up having fun in his presence.  To the confusion of many, he is the kind of guy that everyone knows and wants to be friends with.

Family

	In many ways Sean’s father, Fred Brown, is an adult version of Sean.  While Fred doesn’t share his son’s immaturity, he does remember what it was like to be a kid and was a lot like his son at the age of 19.  The two get along, usually, however have been known to get into some rather heated arguments that the rest of the family simply tries to avoid being involved in.
	Sean has a rather confusing relationship with his mother, Maya Brown.  In many ways the two are far too similar to really get along  - they both have the same ‘me against the world’ kind of attitude and are lacking maturity.  Because Maya isn’t someone who Sean believes deserves respect he is rather blatant in disrespecting her and rarely has contact with her.  When he does though, he is usually quick to try to take advantage of her.
	Despite being very different, Sean and his sister, Anna Brown, get along well.  Since their mother’s failure to be a decent parent, and even more so since their parents’ divorce Anna has taken to mothering her brother.  Often this goes without notice – Sean is too absorbed in his own life to really care about his sister’s advice, and Anna dislikes picking a fight with him – but periodically it becomes overbearing, leading to a dispute between the two.
	Sean gets along really well with his stepmother, Sharon Brown.  They both have the same kind of charm and usually Sharon simply laughs at Sean’s antics.  While she does mother him a bit more than he likes, Sharon rarely, if ever, actually does anything to stop him from doing as he wants – usually her mothering is along the lines of reminding him to brush his teeth, or feeding him.  Possibly because she’s newer to the family and doesn’t know better yet, Sharon has been known to attempt to step in during the arguments between Sean and his father, although she is quickly learning not to.
	Sean’s known his stepsister, Rachel Oxtoby, for most of his life.  The two were friends throughout school and it was through them that their parents met.  In recent years, they’ve grown apart; Rachel grew bored with Sean’s antics and sided with her father during her parents’ divorce, causing a rift in the friendship that grew more when Sharon and Fred began dating.
	Sally Brown is Sean’s cousin on his father’s side.  While Sean is closer with his father’s family he doesn’t really know Sally all that well – it’s limited more to the memories that he has of playing with her when they were both kids.
