Brief History

• School Kids Records opened in Pleasant Port on September 1980, when Scott Mason bought an old grocery store and restored it into a record store.
• When Scott retired on 1998, he transferred the store to Tim Jenkins, who had been working there in the past.

Random fact about School Kids Records

• It's called School Kids records because the store is just next to Pleasant Port School
• There's no cell phone coverage into the store. If you want to contact somebody who works there, you'll have to call the store instead of calling at their cell phone.
• There's a story about a ghost roaming around the store. They say that the owner of the grocery store that was placed into this building before it was restored into a record store died in there under weird circumstances, and that his spirit is still at the place (the right version is that the poor old man had a heart attack when he was about to leave the store after a long day of work)
