Before his Birth

August 29, 1935	Keiron Meltzer is born.
November 24, 1938	Diana Pratchett is born.
April 30, 1940	Terry King is born.
May 10, 1940	Minnie Gemmell is born.
July 31, 1954	Chelsey Gaiman is born.
July 14, 1958	Keiron and Diana marry.
April 17, 1959	Neil Meltzer is born.
May 23, 1965	Terry and Minnie marry.
1968	Terry and Minnie are unable to conceive and begin looking into adoption.
1969	Chelsey begins using drugs and prostituting herself.
June, 1970	Chelsey sleeps with Keiron, conceiving Ryan.
October, 1970	Chelsey decides to put her baby up for adoption and chooses the Kings.

1970’s

December 23, 1970	Ryan is born and adopted by the Kings.
May 1, 1972	Sean King is born.
September, 1976	Ryan starts school a year late due to his late birthday.

1980’s

1980	Ryan is kissed by the girl living next door. Not out of the cootie stage, he thinks it's icky.
1983	Out of his cootie stage, Ryan begins dating the girl living next door. She is his first girlfriend.
1984	The girl living next door and her family move, ending their relationship. Ryan is crushed.
March, 1984	During a school project on himself, Ryan accidentally comes across his adoption papers.
August, 1984	Ryan attempts to contact his birth mother for the first time. He receives no reply.
July 5, 1986	Ryan finally succeeds in contacting Chelsey, who has taken the last two years to get sober. Less than a month later, Ryan discovers that his mother is using drugs again.
December, 1986	Discouraged by his mother's life and determined that he is destined for the same, Ryan begins partying excessively and falling behind in school.
January, 1987	Ryan meets his birth father, who denies his part in the boy's birth. His father is the complete opposite of his mother; successful, married with one son, and not at all drug dependent.
May, 1987	At a party Ryan runs into the girl who used to live next door. The two end up having sex.
November, 1988	Ryan discovers that unless he works really hard he won't graduate with his friends. He stops partying and pulls things together.
June, 1989	Ryan graduates, having passed most of his classes and obtained a C- grade average. To celebrate, he and two friends go on a coast-to-coast road trip.
July, 1989	After spending the better part of a month driving across Canada, the boys decide to return to Vancouver via the States.
August 3, 1989	The boys pull into Pleasant Port, where the car dies. They meet Victoria Law who is working at the auto mechanic shop over the summer.
August 14, 1989	The still not fixed, Ryan's friends decide to fly back to Vancouver. Ryan decides to remain, having begun a summer fling with Victoria.
	As the summer draws to a close and Victoria returns to school, Ryan returns to Vancouver. The two agree to remain in contact.

1990’s

February, 1990	Ryan takes a paternity test to confirm the identification of his father.
September, 1990	Ryan begins studying at Kwantlen University College, taking their Public Safety Communications program.
May, 1991	Ryan graduates and gets a job working as a call taker for the Vancouver Police.
November, 1991	Ryan finds Anne Cromwell, his half-sister through his mother. She is 7 years younger than him and severely handicapped. Because of her disability, her adopted parents insist on Ryan not telling her who he is.
June 14, 1994	The Stanley Cup Riots occur, leaving Ryan feeling rather jaded about his job. He takes his two weeks vacation and returns to Pleasant Port, where things seem simpler. The friendship that he and Victoria have maintained since the first time he went to Pleasant Port turns sexual.
	When Ryan returns to Vancouver he begins making arrangements to move to Pleasant Port permanently. He and Victoria maintain a long distant relationship. Before he leaves, Ryan tells Victoria he loves her.
April, 1995	Ryan moves to Pleasant Port and begins working as a call taker/dispatcher for the town's emergency services.
August 3, 1995	Ryan proposes to Victoria on the anniversary of the day they met. She says yes.
June 26, 1996	Ryan and Victoria marry.
May, 1997	Ryan and Victoria move to 7 Jefferson Street.
September 20, 1997	Alexis King is born.
October, 1997	Chelsey dies.
May 19, 1999	Ryan's brother-in-law, Martin Law gets married to Patricia Kraus.

2000’s

April 30, 2000	Caitlin King is born.
August 20, 2000	Martin and Patricia's son, Rodney is born.
May, 2001	Ryan finds Robinson Minstry, his last known sibling. Robinson is 4 years younger than him.

2007

December 16	Ryan and Victoria concieve their third child.
December 27	Ryan turns 37. He is unhappy about his age and bothered greatly by how close he is to the age his mother was when she died. Despite his grumpy attitude towards the day, he is able to put on a happy face and pretend like it doesn't bother him - for the sake of his wife and children.
December 28	After a long night at work filled with dirty thoughts about his wife - not to mention numerous text messages - Ryan returns home with one thing on his mind, a thought that is recirprocated by Victoria. However, their coitus is inturrupted when Ryan accidentally thrusts into her perineum, ruptering his tunica albuginea. An emergency surgery repairs the damage, but a fear of repeating the injury lingers, aided by the continued discomfort and pain in his groin.

2008

January 6	Victoria takes a pregnancy test and discovers she's pregnant. Later, after telling Ryan the two figure out the approximate date of conception and the due date. They both agree that they don't want to know the gender, and Ryan refrains from admitting that he wants a son.
May 22	Ryan and Victoria get into an argument, which results in her taking the kids to her parents' place. Later, while taking the dogs for a walk he comes across a young girl who Ryan finds very attractive. Despite himself, Ryan finds the girl attractive and lusts after her.
May 23	Ryan and Martin go out for drinks while Vicky and Patricia stay in and bitch about their husbands. After driving home slightly intoxicated, Ryan and Victoria get into another fight, leading to him sleeping in his daughter's bed.
May 24	Ryan makes the decision to really make an effort with his wife in saving their marriage. Vicky appears to be thinking along the same lines, and attemps to seduce him before breakfast.
	Ryan's road hockey team wins it's first game in the tournament and moves on to the semi-finals.
May 25	Ryan goes climbing with his friend, Tim Jenkins. The two of them have a good talk, and agree to go sailing in order to test out Tim's new boat sometime soon.
May 26	While chasing after Toby on a beach Ryan runs into Allison Hodge, who has recently returned to town. As soon as he's confirmed that she's Tim's Allison, Ryan gets away and phones up his friend to give her a warning.
May 27	Ryan's road hockey team wins it's semi-final game.
May 28	Ryan's road hockey team wins the tournament.
