Ripley is 5'11" tall with short brown hair and blue eyes. He is fairly thin from now taking care of himself. Part of that is due to not having money, part of it is due to being mentally unbalanced.

Personality

Ripley can be a really sweet guy. However, at times when things don't go as they're supposed to, he freaks out. There's something inside that causes him to snap and lash out those around him. It doesn't matter if it's a close relative or a complete stranger.

Personal History

When Ripley was a young man, he was pretty sweet. He was a good Catholic boy and loved his childhood sweetheart Nicolette Collins. Despite his parents' he was fine with not being married to her. Maybe one day they would be married, but for now, their love was enough. He was thrilled when she gave birth to their son Nicholas. He loved spending time with the two of them, just being a family. However, something snapped in him the day he found out that Nicolette was pregnant with twins. Suddenly, self-doubt washed over him. He wasn't sure if he could do it financially, emotionally, mentally...and so he ran off, leaving Nicolette to raise their three children alone.

He had girlfriends throughout the years, but he never felt like settling down. He never loved any of them as much as he had loved Nicolette. He had one or two that he got close with, but he eventually sabotaged each relationship. When he left Nicolette, he left town so that he wouldn't run the risk of running into her or the children.

Ripley Wyatt met Nicolette Collins through their parents being friends. Even though there were several years between them, it didn't keep the friends from wanting their children to be friends. In fact, they hoped that the pair - Ripley and Nicolette - would wind up as more than friends. With Ripley being able to skip a grade and Nicolette being held back, they ended up in junior high together. It was there that they became boyfriend and girlfriend.

While Ripley was still in high school, Nicolette became pregnant. Unmarried, she was concerned, but since it seemed the couple would remain together forever, no one was concerned that they would end up happily married eventually. They lived happily together, the two of them and their son Nicholas. They were thrilled when one day, Nicolette found out she was pregnant. She hoped that she would get a little girl and have one of each. However, when it was discovered they were having twins, Ripley took off.
