The pool is open seasonally from May 15th until September 15th, Tuesday through Saturday.  It is closed when incliment weather appears.  Lifeguards are on hand at all times. 

Pools

The public pool is an L-shaped area combining an Olympic-size pool with a smaller, shallower addition.  It has two diving boards and a slide.  There is also a kiddie pool adjacent to it with water-jet nozzles and a walk-under water fountain.  Also on the premises is a sunbathing area, a covered picnic area, a snack bar, a changing area complete with lockers and a maintenance/storage building.

The pool facility is completely fenced in.  The city's Recreation Dept. oversees the operation and maintenance.

Brief History

The original pool was built in 1968.  It was later completely dug up and the existing facility established in 2000.
