• In many ways Patricia is the Homecoming Queen that never was.
• Was a desperate over achiever constantly trying to make it into the ‘in crowd’ as a teen but never really succeeded.
• Blossomed in college where she became the girl everyone wanted to know.
• Clings to that time of her life, doing her best to not move past it.
• She insists on maintaining her old friends and often acts as careless as she did as a young adult. • The move was hard on her, she didn’t ever seem to fully fit in.
• While she made friends with the ‘right’ people, she was always the tag along and never the star.
• Changed in college.  She finally succeeded in being the girl that all the other girls wanted to be and that all the guys wanted to sleep with.
• Met Martin in high school where she developed a crush on him.  He was everything that she thought a girl like her deserved.  He, however, paid no attention to her.
• In college they began to hit it off, however it was never the right time for anything to happen.  She refused to be the girl that he slept with on the side, and whenever he was single she was taken.
• After Martin injured himself the two grew closer.  She thought that they might actually have a chance, until he dropped out.  At that point he became everything she didn’t want.
• When he asked her out she promptly rejected him. Martin, however, wouldn’t take no for an answer.  He pursued her relentlessly until she gave in, thinking that there was no harm in one date.
• After the date though she fell for him.  The two began a heated relationship that was marked by numerous break ups.
• It wasn’t until she found out that she was pregnant that things really became serious between them.  Despite the fact that neither was ready for it, they got married.  Rodney was born shortly after.
