Community College: Women's Basketball Team

Over the past 5 seasons, PPCC has garnered the attention of many D1 schools, including UCONN, due to the talent of some recent players. Most of these players were simply students attending the community college because they did not have the means to attend a four year school just yet (finances, grades, skill level, etc.). The team has since had considerable success, even making it quite far into the NJCAA Division 1 tournament. Now the team’s success is a selling point for students who want a shot at being recruited by D1 schools but for whatever reason they were not considered as a freshman. With a rigorous schedule that includes traveling all over the country for games, PPCC gives them the shot to be noticed. The 2007-2008 season was the first since Ethan took over where the team did not even make it out of districts to the NJCAA tourney.

The team is considered smaller than of their competition, but they are known for being very aggressive, light on their feet, and having great stamina.
