Appearance

If there’s a word that can define Luke’s appearance, that’s casual. His hair – long to above his shoulders – frames a face that looks sweet despite the stubble and the several scars he has on it – mainly consequence of several street fights when he was younger. He’s strong, his arms are muscular, but latelly you'll see him a lot more thinner due to his bad habits when it comes to eating, and the addiction to drugs he suffered some months ago. Often, you’ll find him wearing a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a half unbuttoned shirt, and never anything too fancy. He has several tribal tattoos on his left arm.

Personality

Luke is, overall, a simple person. He doesn’t need much to be happy, simple things like a sunset or the strarry night are enough to make him feel alive. Always patient, and being known for his perseverance, when he wants something he doesn’t stop until he gets it. That’s probably the reason why most of the people, - mainly his family – calls him stubborn, something that never bothered him too much. He acts before thinking.

He tends to judge people before knowing them, something that often leads him to all sort of trouble. Carefree and careless, he doesn’t care about his future or anything related with settling down. He's, mostly, somebody who enjoys living the present.

He can be a little grumpy. He hates anything related with town spirit or holidays, and even if working doesn't make him happy and routine is something he tries to avoid, he's secretly happy when things are 'normal', and nothing special is going on around him. Crowds bother him.

Personal History

Luke grew up in Pleasant Port into a very Christian family, and remembers his childhood as that happy period of time when he didn’t have to worry about anything. Not that he worries about anything now, but before it had the plus of the innocence, and the curiosity of somebody who has not lived enough to know that life is not as happy as the books for children try to paint it.

He attended High School, and when he was 15 he began to work in the local auto repair shop. He had always liked anything related with speed – cars, motorbikes –and learnt pretty quickly. His goal was to get enough money to travel around the world during a whole year without worrying about anything. Of course, that was only a teen’s dream.

During his whole life he has only loved one girl, Jacqueline. They dated for nine months, and after an intense relationship they got married in Holy Trinity Church. They were married for 2 years and 7 months, and five months ago (May 2006) she asked for the divorce. The reasons of the divorce are different depend on which of the sides you ask. If you ask Luke, he's going to tell you that he wasn't made for a serious relationship and she was getting too demanding with him. If you ask her, she's going to talk you about some stuff related with drugs. Whatever is the correct version, none of the residents of Pleasant Point will probably never find out.

He was addict to drugs for 3 years (from 2002 to 2005), which really affected his marriage with Jackie. On February 2007 he was arrested and went to jail for a couple of months, accused of sexual harassment to his ex-wife. When he got out on parole, he fell into drugs again, until he decided to visit a psychiatrist and get treatment for it (end of 2007). Now (May 2008) he's in process of being fully recovered, and is working as a volunter in the community center, to help people with his same problem. The fact that he got raped by three guys during a trip to Vegas (January 2008) was a determinant factor on his way to recovery, and in an attempt to be lead a better life.

	Allison is Luke's best friend. They do almost differ 10 years in age but they get along perfectly. They also have that sexual tension going on and most people would wonder why they haven't landed in bed together yet.
	Besides being his boss in Woodstoves Autorepair, Gerard is one of Luke's friends. They were already friends in high school, and mostly they grew up together. Still, Luke has the feeling that Alex's marriage has hurt their friendship, mostly because Alex's wife never liked the idea of the two of them being friends.
	Johnny has turned into what Luke would call a best friend. They rarely talk about anything deep, usually limiting their conversations to alcohol, drugs, and sex. Luke is now living with him.

They've never been introduced in a direct way, but since Luke lives with his friend they've been coinciding several times, and therefore they get into sporadic conversations. Luke thinks he's hot - he actually thinks he's the only woman over 45 living in Plesant Port he'd fuck - and he openly flirts with her.
	Luke and Adela have an interesting history. They slept together before her parents died, when she was 19. He was 24 at the time. There was no relationship other than a physical one. When Adela's friend found out, he and Luke got into a fight as Tim felt Luke was taking advantage of Adela . They never really got the chance to deal with the situation as her parents died and she moved away soon after. They never mentioned what happened between them and have not interacted a lot since she returned, as a result of a lingering hatred between Tim and Luke, but whenever they do there is always an undercurrent of sexual tension.
	During the Pumpkin Fest, Luke offered a joint to Justin without knowing he was the son of his boss. Still now, Luke and the guy hang out together from time to time, mostly when Luke needs Parker's money for his poker games.
	Luke and Gus attended high school together. They weren't what you'd call friends, but they both liked to get drunk and attend parties, so they interacted in several occasions. After high school they never talked again, until Luke went to to the barber shop to get a haircut and found out that Gus was back in Pleasant Port

	Alex is Jackie's boyfriend, enough reason for Luke to hate him. On New Year's day they had a fight at Jackie's place when he went to pick up some of his stuff that was still there.
	Fletcher punched him after finding out he was Luke Questal, the man who tried to rape Jackie. Luke considers he wasn't able to defend himself, and for sure he has a fight pending with the guy
	Sam is Gerard's wife. She never liked Luke, and often she accuses him of being a bad influence for Gerard
