1950’s

May 4, 1959

Linda is born in Boston, Massachusetts to Donna and Joey Davis.

1960’s

1962	Her mother's sister, Diana, has a daughter named Delaney. She's the first of many cousins.
1966	Enrolls in piano lessons and ballet classes. Though piano doesn't last long, she stick with ballet up until she's fifteen years old.
1968	Starts taking gymnastics classes.

1970’s

1974	As a freshman in high school, she makes the varsity cheerleading squad.
	Attracts the attention of a junior named Jackson O'Neal. The two click instantly and start dating, much to the chagrin of her parents.
	Drops ballet classes close to the end of the year. Donna blames Linda's new boyfriend but the truth is that she's just burnt out.
1976	She lands a job at a local diner as a waitress. In order to have time to work more than weekends, she drops cheerleading.
	After dating for close to two years, her and Jackson sleep together for the first time.
1977	Graduates from high school and attends the Boston School of Cosmetology.
1978	Moves into a small two-bedroom house with Jackson.
1979	On New Year's Eve he proposes and the two become engaged.

1980’s

1980	Linda quits her first job and successfully interviews for a position at a place called Trend Designs to become a full-time hair stylist.
1982	Although she already has a date and location in mind, the actual wedding hasn't taken place yet and the engagement goes on.
	Finds out that's she's pregnant.
February 18, 1983	Her daughter, Cassandra Davis, is born in February.
1987	After what was the umpteenth argument about finally getting married, Jackson blows everything off. The two break up and he moves out of the house.

1990's

1991	Linda sells the house and moves into an apartment building closer to her parents. To save on childcare costs, Donna and Joey watch Cassie while she works.
1995	After being unsuccessful with trying to talk Cassie into gymnastics, she enrolls her daughter in art classes.
1999	Once it's obvious that her daughter is hanging around with the wrong people and drinking, and Linda doesn't know how to stop it, she decides to just remove them from the problem and move elsewhere. Pleasant Port, Connecticut.
	After arriving in town she immediately applies for and lands a job at Mirage Beauty Salon.

2000's

2001	Her daughter graduates from high school. Although Linda pushes it, Cassie doesn't attend college in the fall.
	As a Christmas present to herself, she gets herself breast implants.
2003	Meets Nicolette Collins and the two become fast friends.
2004	Cassie moves out of the apartment. She'd never admit it to her daughter, but Linda instantly misses her daughter and becomes lonely.
	Begins dating a man she meets out one night at Ocean View. It doesn't last for more than a month before Linda gets bored.
2006	Begins having sex with a man in town named John Zimmerman.

2007

April 21	Believes that she has offended Cassie's boyfriend, Micah Lewis, after dying his hair black. A few days later it's magically back to it's natural color.
July 14	Leaves town for a week vacation in Atlantic City.
July 21	Extends her vacation and goes to visit her parents in Boston for two weeks. While there she reconnects with Jackson. The two decide to keep in touch with phone calls after she leaves.
October 27	Micah visits Linda at work and asks for her permission to marry Cassie.
October 28	Linda learns of Micah's mother's murder. She calls him to over condolences.
November 1	Linda goes to John's place, expecting sex. However, when he fails to rise to the occassion, he drunkenly confesses to her about having had sex with another guy.
November 2	Shortly after waking up at John's place, she finds him unconscious in his living room, surrounded by containers of pills and a near empty bottle of gin. She calls 9-1-1, saving his life.
December 24	Having had his hair cut and dyed numerous times in the twenty days since returning to Pleasant Port, John decides to get his chest waxed by Linda. It is an experience that he decides to never partake in again. During the waxing, John almost apologizes for his suicide attempt, and Linda says that she forgives him. After calling her by her name instead of Sugar, he asks her out on a real date, and she says yes.
December 25	At Christmas dinner with the joint families, Micah and Cassie announce their engagement.
December 28	John and Linda go out on their first real date. Despite the two of them breaking all of the traditional date rules - including going so far as to discuss the possibility of him sleeping with another woman - it goes well
December 31	John and Linda have a second date. Neither is really sure what happened, due to large quantities of alcohol.

2008

May 25	After church John and Linda go back to her place and get stoned. After reflecting on a number of things, he ends up telling her that she's the only person he is sleeping with. She isn't sure how to take it, and so ignores his words.
May 27	Linda runs into Luke Questal, John's roommate, over breakfast. The two talk, with Luke flirting a bit, causing Linda to wonder how serious John was about being monogamous.
	Micah visits Linda during his lunch break to discuss inviting Jackson to the wedding. She ends up giving him Jackson's phone number so that he can do so.
	John surprises Linda at home with Chinese food. The conversation that follows includes him admitting that if he ever gets bored of her, he'll probably move on.
