Joe and Lacie were both raised in the Wiccan religion, and so their union seemed natural. Despite their love for eachother, they didn't plan on having children. Therefore, when they became pregnant with a child, they were shocked and initially panicked. However, they soon accepted it and felt that it was nature's doing and they would accept it. Once they saw how wonderful having a child they felt blessed to be parents. They were blessed again when they became pregnant around eight years later. They raised their children in the Wiccan religion as well and maintained a 'no yelling' household.
