Before his Birth

April 22, 1919	Jeffrey's father, Nicholas Lewis, is born.
November 11, 1920	Jeffrey's mother, Vanessa Hopkins, is born.
December 7, 1941	The USA enters the Second World War. Nicholas enlists immediately.
December 20	Nicholas and Vanessa marry.
September 29, 1942	Jeffrey's oldest sister, Amber, is born.
1945	The war ends, and a month later Nicholas returns home.
January 3 1946	The younger of Jeffrey's sisters, Sara, is born.

1940’s

December 23, 1949

Jeffrey is born.

1950’s

1950	The Korean War starts and Jeffrey’s father, Nicholas, re-enlists in the army, leaving his family behind.
1953	Nicholas returns home from Korea a changed man. He is abusive and frequently drunk. Jeffrey takes the worst of the abuse.
1955	Jeffrey starts school and meets Naomi.
1956	After hearing his sisters discussing kissing boys, Jeffrey wonders what kissing is like and decides to kiss Naomi, which he does one day while they're waiting for their parents to pick them up from school.

1960’s

1965	Jeffrey works up the nerve to ask Naomi out and she says yes. Their first date is a school dance.
1967	Jeffrey graduates from high school and begins attending Pleasant Port’s college. He also moves out of his parent’s home.
October 12	Amber gets married to George Marchai.
August 1, 1968	Amber and George have a son, who they name Nicholas.

1970’s

1971	Jeffrey graduates from college with a degree in accounting.
July 3	Sara gets married to Edward Allen.
1972	Jeffrey proposes to Naomi in a characteristically unromantic way (he asks her if she possibly wants to ‘tie the knot’). She says yes.
1974	Jeffrey and Naomi get married.
1975	Nicholas dies. Jeffrey refuses to grieve for his father and only attends the funeral because his mother begs him to, saying that it would look bad if he didn’t.
February 22, 1976	Adina Lewis is born. Jeffrey falls in love with her instantly.

1980’s

April 6, 1981	Naomi's brother, Craig Rosenstone, marries Cecilia Brodsky.
September 11, 1981	Craig and Cecilia's son, Brad Rosenstone, is born.
1982	Micah Lewis is born. Jeffrey does not take to his son at all.
1989	Vanessa is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.

1990’s

1992	Vanessa briefly moves into her son’s home. After less than a year she moves into Pleasant Port’s nursing home.
October 16	Nicholas marries Diane Picoult. Micah is the ring bearer.
1993	Jeffrey buys the Peasant Port Accountant's Office
	Two days after buying the Accountant's Office, Jeffrey hires Bruce Weatherby to be his assistant.
1994	Adina graduates from high school.
1996	Adina comes out of the closet; Jeffrey does not take the news well.
1997	Jeffrey and Adina stop talking to each other.

2000’s

2000	Micah graduates from high school.
August 5	Nicholas and Diane have their first child, a daughter named Vanessa.
2002	To Jeffrey’s great disappointment, Micah drops out of college.
November 4	Nicholas and Diane have their second child, a son named Terry.
2003	Micah overdoses and is found by Naomi. Because of this Jeffrey briefly attempts to salvage his relationship with his children. He fails with Adina and gives up before Micah is out of rehab. When Micah returns from rehab, he moves in with Adina.
2004	Micah moves out of his sister’s place causing Jeffrey to decide that he’s using drugs again.

2007

February 17	Micah is in a near fatal car accident. Jeffrey goes to the hospital to find out what’s going on without telling Naomi of the accident. There he meets Micah’s girlfriend, Cassie Davis and discovers that it’s highly possible that Micah isn’t using again. Because of how close they came to losing Micah, Jeffrey attempts to salvage the relationship once again.
October 27	When returning home from the theatre, Jeffrey and Naomi are approached by a stranger who robs Jeffrey before shooting and killing Naomi.
October 28	Early in the morning, Jeffrey phones to tell Adina about the death. He puts the responsibility to contact Micah on her. During the day Jeffrey meets with Officer Collins and gives his police statement. Later on he meets with Andrew Baker to arrange the funeral. After struggling to get through the one meeting, Jeffrey decides first to have Weatherby deal with arranging the funeral.
November 1	At Naomi's viewing Jeffrey watches as one of the detectives investigating Naomi's murder talks with Micah. After the man clearly upsets Micah - to the point that the boy out right yells at him - Jeffrey decides to voice a complaint with the Police.
	Micah comes to Jeffrey about buying the Photo Studio. Jeffrey is hesitant at first, but after Micah brings him a business proposal he agrees.
December 25	At Christmas dinner, Micah and his girlfriend announce their engagement. Jeffrey is shocked because he didn't expect his son to be man enough to actually propose. In congratulating them, he gets Cassie's name right for the first time.

2008

May 23	Jeffrey discovers that Micah and Cassie weren't planning on inviting his mother to the wedding. Rather than at all trying to understand the situation, he instead choses to get upset with the two of them and argues, first with Micah then with Cassie, until Cassie finally caves and says that they'll discuss it.
May 25	After having gone over the books for the Photo Studio Jeffrey comes to the conclusion that it might not be feasable to have it open on Sundays anymore. On his way to the studio in order to discuss it with his son, he runs into Travis Collins, one of the employees of the studio. He quickly comes to the conclusion that the boy is not fit to be an employee and later talks to Micah about firing him.
May 26	Jeffrey runs into Andrew who he discusses buying burial plots for Micah and Cassie with. The two eventually come to the decision that Jeffrey should price out the cost of a mausoleum.
