Appearance

Her second most recognized quality is her beautiful brown flowing hair. She was also known for being one of the only women in Hollywood WITHOUT extensions or a weave. Bella is a strong believer in an all natural body. Her eyes are green, but change to brown when she is angry. She tends to not wear a lot of make up. She only usually wears a little bit of mascara and a nude lip gloss. She dresses very young and fresh. She is a style guru only wearing the latest trends. She wears a lot of mini dresses and simple decorative sandals. She only really wears jeans when she has to. 

Bella keeps her hair wavy most of the most. She prefers to simply step out from the shower and run some mouse through her hair. She can often be seen on her 'casual days' with her pulled up in a messy bun. Bella also always wears a heart necklace given to her by her ex husband. She always swore to herself that she wouldn't take it off until another man had claimed her heart, for her heart was still her exes.

Bella can be very stand-offish. When she first meets new people, she tends to be rather quiet and timid. This is quite unusual for the usually upbeat and sweet woman. This has been a curse that affected her ever since she was young. The only reason she was picked up by her agents when she was twenty, was because she came a second time after they said she had to "wow them -- or we will move onto the next girl.".  She did that very thing, and ever since then, she has always tried to "wow people" after their first meeting.

When you get to know Bella, she may come off rather sarcastic and sometimes cold. She often disregards people's feelings. She does not do this purposely though, she just has really bad intuition. She doesn't really know when to stop. But, once someone from the outside explains the situation to her, she apologizes immediately to the person she has hurt. Bella is also known for having a very strong opinion. When something goes on in front of her that she doesn't like, she will speak her mind. She also thinks her opinion is the only one that matters. Bella is also a very competitive spirit. If she doesn't win, she's liable to hurt somebody.

Bella's friends are her life. She is a very protective person. If one of her friends was to ever get hurt, she would most definately go after the person doing the hurting. Ever since her divorce from her formal 'model playboy' husband, Isabella has grown quite weary about the opposite sex. She has frown rather bitter and resentful towards men. Isabella was born on August 2, 1974 in a London hospital to Joan and Charles Hogan. She is their only child. Isabella has always lived within a successful lifestyle. Her father, a successful lawmen, had a rather established firm in London. Her mother, a local boutique owner, can be credited for giving Bella her style gene.

Bella grew up living in a beautiful flat located in the heart of London. Her parents were always modest about their living situation and insisted on sending Bella off to what could be considered a 'public academy'. She attended a public high school and graduated in 1992. After high school, she left home to pursue her real career dream... acting.

In 1992, she left London and moved to New York City. There she attended NYU, studying theatre. Her father was a bit worried about her going out on her own but helped to fund her way anyway (only after a lot of pestering and convincing from Joan). She did some off broadway pieces until she received a chance of a life time. A mutual friend of a friend told her about an open audition for a broadway production of, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". The director loved her portrayal of Margaret but was a bit discouraged by her personality. When Isabella first meets people, she is very quiet and timid. The only reason she got a call back for the next audition was because of her skill alone. After being provoked to show her true self, she won the part of Margaret and before she knew it, her career was launched.

Immediately after her audition, she was picked up by an agent. After that, her life truly took off. She did show after show, proving to be a great actress on and off broadway. She even went back to her home town to do a performance of "Jesus Christ Superstar", ultimately winning the prized role of Mary.

By 1998, she was a household name. At this time, she was getting out of theatre and into film and television.  She had been cast as the token pretty girl and was upset by the lack of substantial roles she was receiving in the industry. She was craving for more meaty roles but her agent pushed her into a certain genre and she was forced to linger there until she left Los Angeles.

By 2001, Bella had a great life going for her. She was dating an up and coming model, Michael Clay. They had met at one of her movie premieres and he adored her. In 2002, they moved in with each other. She now was situated in Beverly Hills. After a few years of dating and being called, "the perfect couple" by the paparazzi, they married in 2004.

Through these years, Isabella had grown very depressed. To ease a lot of her pain, she began to smoke cigarettes and drink a bit more frequently. She felt she had sold out by continuing to pursue the same 'generic' roles. In early 2005, she made the decision to take a break from movies because she needed the time to find herself. She vowed to never act again until she found the role she knew to be perfect. After this, her life began to go down hill. In 2006, after two years of marriage, Isabella walked in on her model husband with a much younger woman. After a very messy and public divorce, Isabella left her lifestyle full of fame to pursue a life away from the limelight.

First, she considered moving back to London but then she figured her family would have reporters camped outside of their humble flat. After a long discussion with her mother and a lot of research, she found Pleasantport, a place that promised new beginnings. Immediately, her life began to fall into place.

Isabella still remains close to her family. They visit her from time to time. She has not talked to her ex husband since their divorce. He is still currently living in their Beverly Hills home.

She was terrified to fall in love again. Out of pure selfishness, she wanted him to wait for her. He of course could not do this. She still has feelings for him but will not act on them because he is in a relationship currently. The two have talked little since. They

  remain simply 'friendly'.

• Amy Salinger - They met through Cole. She was always very friendly towards Bella, which Bella really appreciated. They seemed to talk a good amount when she was with her best friend, but ever since the break up, they haven't really hung out.
• Luciana-Moretti-McKinnon - Luciana could very well be her best friend in Pleasant Port. Luciana is the only person who knows that Bella still has a lot of feelings for Cole. They became a lot closer once they signed up for the Softball League together. Bella acted as a sort of coach to her. Bella loves her children, and often watches them while Luciana and her husband go off to dinner. As you can imagine, Bella and Luciana spend a great deal of time together.
• Scott Archer - They met in a museum. Ever since, they have bonded over history. They go to museums quite frequently together. Bella really enjoys the company of Scott. It's great for her to have a friend that shares her same interests.
• Estela Russel - Met at a local hot spot in Pleasant Port. After discussing their lives, they figured out that they lived in New York. They since have grown closer realizing that they may have more in common than they think.
