• Every Valentine's Day, the Love Ball is hosted at the park
• During the week before Halloween every year the Pumpkin Fest is hosted at the park.  On Halloween there is a Halloween Dance
• The Week of Christmas the Christmas Market is hosted at the park
• Throughout the year there are venues for weddings and many couples that don't get married there have engagement and wedding photos done there

Bus Terminal

There is a bus terminal at the north end of the park (Main Street). It is serviced by the number 3 bus.

There is also a bus stop at the south end of the park (Salem Road), where the number 1 bus stops.
