Personality

Farrah has a very open personality which makes it easy for her to talk with just about anyone, whether she knows them personally or not. She's comfortable in almost any situation and rather uninhibited. Her optimism is one of her best qualities, always looking for the best in every situation, and most often she ignores anything that could be a downer towards her mood.  She craves attention and will go out of her way to get it.

She has the ability to seem like she could move a mile a minute, but it's mostly because her thoughts are the same way. She can jump from one subject to the next without blinking, and it doesn't bother her at all if others are able to keep up or not.

She's rather flirty, as people seem to pick up on first impression because she finds it unnecessary to hide her feelings. If she likes someone, they'll know instantly. If they're not too into her, she'll try everything within her power to change their mind.

Personal History

Farrah was born and raised in Scranton, New Jersey, where must of her family still live. Her childhood wasn't the happiest, thanks to an alcoholic father and an overprotective brother.  Farrah was, however, very close to her mother even though Marigold was addicted to painkillers at one time and did little to help the situation.  That, coupled with the severe restrictions imposed by the male members of her family, proved to be a turning point in her life.  She never really accelled at anything, although she was a decent student and above average tennis player. 

Sex entered the picture at age 15, followed by drugs two years later, and she quickly developed addiction to both.  Working a variety of mall jobs, Farrah made it into college but dropped out her sophomore year.  She moved to Pleasant Port a few years ago with her boyfriend at the time, Brian. He was her means of escape from Jersey, but after a year, he couldn't handle Farrah's constant need of attention...especially of the sexual nature.  As of now, she is single, as he moved back to New Jersey after a falling out with her.

Farrah moved in with a co-worker and friend, Cassie Davis, and her boyfriend at the time, Micah Lewis.

Family Background

	Walt Covington:  A pipefitter by trade, Farrah's father was an alcoholic even before she was born.  He never really took an interest in his kids, except when they did something to displease him.  Then he was typically abusive verbally...although on occassion he'd turn violent.  After years of trying to win his acceptance and attention, Farrah left home with her boyfriend and refuses to see him.
	Marigold Swanson Covington:  Despite her best efforts, Farrah's mom could never shield her daughter from Walt's abuse.  She divorced him in 2002 and is living in Atlantic City, NJ...working as a cocktail waitress.  "Goldie" beat drugs and alcohol a year later and has been trying to be a better mother.
	Cecil "Charlie" Covington (29):  Her older brother, Charlie did everything to appease his father....including help belittle Farrah.  He also tended to be overprotective (or jealous) of her at times.  He works at the same steel mill as his father.  Recently, he's been trying to make amends with her, and she consented to a visit in Apr. 2008.  They now at least talk.

	Cassandra Davis  One of her good friends and a former roommate.  Far met Cassie in 2001 right after she came to town and went to work at the jewelry store.  After Brian left, she moved in with Cassie and Micah in Jan. 2004.
	Micah Lewis  They were roommates for 2 years.  Micah has always been something of a big brother/father figure to Far, although she drove him crazy in a good way.
	Darnell Johnson:  Far and Darnell's relationship began as dealer and user in late 2006, but eventually turned into something resembling a mutual partnership.  Darnell supplies the drugs and Far the sex.  She finally grew tired of him in late 2007, which lead to her leaving after he hit her.
	Georgina Patrick:  Farr and Gigi met not too long after the latter came to Pleasant Port.  She almost immediately developed a crush on the blonde, but kept things friendly.  Living in the same apartment building together meant they got to hang out quite a bit and made out a time or too.  New Year's 2008 the two had sex together for the first time and after the episode with Darnell, Gigi had her move in.  Farrah admires Gigi as a successful, strong, independent woman and cannot deny more than just a physical attraction to her (but only to herself).  When Georgiana moved back to NYC, she left Farr the apartment and management of the sex shop.

Fionnegan Gallagher - Fionn met Farrah at The Bar when she was dancing to Benny Benassi's Satisfaction. He joined her and they had a ripping good time until 3 in the morning when they were booted from the establishment and both far too drunk to drive. Instead of letting Farrah find her way home, Fionn walked her back to his place and tucked her into bed, talking to her wild ramblings as though they were coherent, and then passing out on the floor next to her in a happy stupor. The next morning saw him merrily cracking eggs and chatting amiably to her. And amiably they have chatted ever since. Fionn gave her his number should she ever need a ride she trusts again, a place to hide out until the hangover wears off, or a drink and dance buddy.

Travis Collins:  Travis is one of Farrah's favorite targets for flirting.  She knows it makes him uncomfortable to be around her.  She thinks he's adorable and won't mind getting him in the sack...if he gets over his shyness.  May of 2008, she hired Travis to take erotic pictures of her.

Riley Collins:  Travis' twin sister.  Riley and Farrah meet at a bar one evening and had a blast.  They still hang out occassionally and have made out a couple of times.  In Jan. 2008, they finally had full-blown sex in the back of Farrah's car.

Ethan Hauer:  Being neighbors, Ethan and Farrah have met several times...usually resulting in a hefty amount of flirting and sexual innuendo.  She developed a crush on him in December 2007 and finally slept with Ethan a couple of days later...and hopes to do it again.  She would very much like to be close friends with him, but she's been getting mixed signals...possibly because she's living with Darnell.

Colin Lowen:  Colin and Far meet one night in the parking lot if the Fun Bar and smoked some weed together.  She flirted with him heavily, despite the fact that he's quite younger than she is.

Filo Felvish:  Filo helped Farrah count out her spare change at the Arcade one Saturday.  She knows he's a geek, but she also thinks he's an interesting and friendly guy.  He offered her a job in a round about way, and she's been considering it.  The following evening, they ran into one another at Han's and had dinner together after she was stood up by Darnell.  Filo also offered her a place to stay should she ever decide to leave her dealer.

Ian Mace:  Farr meet Ian at the Atlantis Club one night in Nov. 2007 and has since flirted with him at every opportunity.  She made out with him once when she was high on X, but even sober she thinks he's sexy as hell.  They run into one another often enough at the clubs.  He stuns her in May 2008 by telling her he's an FBI agent working a case against Darnell and his suppliers.

Sally Brown:  Farr knows Sally from the salon she goes to.  Yet another woman that she has her eye on.

Adela Martinez:  Adela and Farr are neighbors in the same apartment building.  She's another hot woman in the building that Farr fantasizes about.  They've gone out and clubbed together...done some shopping, but nothing really since she moved in with Gigi.  They stilll run into one another in the apartment building, the resaurant, and/or the jewlery shop from time to time.

Ben Sutton:  Farr knows Ben as a close friend of Micah's.  Even though he's gay, Farr still flirts and banters with him. 

Misha Yumiko:  Farrah ran into Misha one night in January as she walked to the grocery store.  They didn't get to talk much, other than to find out they shared similar interests.  In May, 2008...the two met up at Ocean View.  Farr was already high and after going back to Misha's and sampling her "brownies", the two spent the night together.
