	Ellison Hauer, Sr. joins the US Marines
	Meets Red Cross Nurse Elaine Murro

1960's

1967	Ellison Hauer, Jr. born

1970's

June 27, 1973	Ethan Hauer is born.
1979	Evan Hauer is born.
	Elaine Hauer dies from childbirth related complications.
	The Hauer family moves to Annapolis, MD. Ellison Hauer teaches

1980's

1985	Ellison Hauer, Jr. graduates from high school and enlists in the marines.
1989	During his junior year of high school, Ethan applies to the US Air Force Academy and recieves a nomination

1990's

June 1990	Ethan graduates from high school.
September 1990	Begins freshman year at USAFA
	Competes basketball for the Fighting Falcons.
May 1994	Graduates from the Air Force Academy
Summer 1994	Joins the Air Force and attends Officer Training School.
September 9, 1994	Granted rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
Fall 1994	Begins Undergraduate Flight Training
1995	IFF
	SERE
	The Basic Course
1996	Assigned to fly F-16 fighters
September 9, 1996	Promotion to 1st Lieutenant
Fall 1996	Deployed for first official tour of duty.
1997	Deployed again overseas as part of Operation Northern Watch in Iraq.
September 9, 1998	Promotion to Captain

2000's

Summer 2000	Ethan meets Cole Cleyburne at a softball game.
September 2000	Ethan completes his five years of active duty service and begins his three years of inactive reserve duty.
	Begins his master's degree at UCONN
August 1, 2001	Promotion to Major.
Summer 2001	Ethan completes his three years of inactive reserve duty.
September 11, 2001	After the the events of 9/11, Ethan becomes an active reserve.
Fall 2001	Deployed for another tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Summer 2002	Returns to inactive reserve duty and also starts to search for jobs in the civilian sector.
Fall 2002	Becomes Pleasant Port Community College's Women's Basketball coach.
Fall 2003	Moves to Pleasant Port.
Fall 2006	Ethan meets Amy Salinger for the first time when she approaches him with concerns about the academic performance of one of his basketball players. He convinces her to become the team's academic advisor.
December 2006	Ethan, Cole, their younger brothers (Logan and Evan) , Amy Salinger and some other female adjuncts from the college all go bar hopping.

2007

Fall 2007	Cole and Ethan move to their current residence on Boardwalk.
December 24, 2007	Cole and Ethan host a Christmas Eve party when they are unable to spend time with their respective families for the holidays.

December 28	While out walking Jet, Ethan meets up with Farrah Covington and the two flirt shamelessly.
December 29	Ethan again meets up with Farrah while getting food at one of the bars. After debating about sleeping ith a "taken" women, Ethan gives in and the two return to his house to have sex.
December 30	Ethan and Cole meet up with Fletcher and Travis at 8 Balls to play some pool.
December 31	Ethan goes to the beach bonfire where he meets Billie Strummer. After downing plenty of vodka shots, they go back to her place.

2008

January 1	Ethan wakes up naked and in bed with Billie. Amidst some awkward conversation, the two discover that aside from drinking plenty of liquor the night before, they can't remember much else.
	Later that day, after recieving a disturbing voicemail from friend, Brendan Wright, and then a call from his sister, Kayla, Ethan agrees to stop over to the Green farm and check in on him. Apparently following a trip to the gym, Brendan is paranoid about terrorists, and actually thinks Cole is who is out to get him. As Ethan attempts to reason with Brendan from outside, the former marine questions whether Ethan is also a terrorist.
Januarty 6?	While skiing in Colorado with Cole, Ethan cracks a few ribs on a tumble down one of the more advanced slopes.
February 21	Basketball teams final game of the season which makes it official that they won't move on to districts or even the national tourney.
February 22	Ethan announces that he will be leaving for another tour of duty in Afghanistan
February 26	Ethan leaves for Afghanistan.
