Her father once labeled Daiyu as energy abundant. She is always running around and barely knows how to slow down enough to not thump up and down the stairs. She is truthful to a fault, believing it is wrong to keep secrets from her parents--something her dad likes at times...unless its a secret he needs to keep from her mom--and she's willing to speak openly with her teachers.

While she speaks fluent English as well, Daiyu also speaks Chinese and has been noted to say something to her teachers in Chinese. She's learned to not say a dirty word in Chinese in front a teacher but that doesn't stop her from saying it. (Both of her parents will scold her for saying it though if they find out). She loves talking with her friends.
