Casey is an imposing figure at first to most. He stands a solid 6’1” and is 271 lbs with an incredibly muscular build. His hair length varies depending on his style preference. Casey is a man who has great faith in himself. He workshard to achieve his goals and never takes anything for granted. He is a man with a big heart and always willing to help out anyone who needs it. He has his family upbringing to thank for his charitable attitude.

Casey can be quick to make friends, this is due in part to his nonjudgmental attitude and his acceptance of most people for who and what they are. His friendships are lifelong and one of the things he holds dear to his heart.

He prefers to keep his personal life private. Casey has never hidden his sexuality, but he doesn’t come across as your typical gay man, in fact his mannerisms are so masculine that one would never know. This can be attributed to his view on his sexuality, he is not a gay man, but rather a man who happens to be gay. He refuses to allow his sexuality to define who he is.

Although he has drifted away from organized religion, he recognizes the need for a spiritual center. There are many conservative beliefs he finds himself still holding true to and at odds with many others. He still manages to turn to the bible for comfort in times of need and has managed to build his own relationship with god outside of any organized religion.

Personal History

Casey is the youngest of the Donovan children and the only boy. His father was the town veterinarian and his mother an English teacher. Casey’s early years were typical for a small town boy. His father was not only the town Veterinarian but the bishop of the local LDS ward, so the children were brought up in a conservative household.

His parent’s encouraged their children to earn good grades and take up a sport during the summer and school years. They also encouraged the children to learn to play a musical instrument so Casey took up the piano. Casey played little league baseball all through elementary and middle school. In high school he played football, baseball, wrestling and weight lifting. His mother was overjoyed when he joined the drama club.

Casey knew from an early age he was different than most boys his age, though he never even thought about acting on his sexual urges while he was in high school although he had plenty of crushes. It became a family secret between him and his sisters when they discovered magazines of nude men in his room one day when they were snooping around.

Casey’s father had all of his children assist him at the Veterinary Clinic on the weekends during the school year and hired them on during the summer as temporary help in the summer. It was during this time that Casey found his love of medicine. His family had five dogs and three cats plus several horses so they all had a love of animals.

Due to his outstanding grades he had his choice of colleges and decided on the University of California Davis. His parents were disappointed when he opted to attend college and forgo going on a mission, but there was no way he would have gone. While in California, Casey discovered a lot about the world and himself. It was at the university he had his first sexual encounter with a man and even had several short term relationships. He even managed to continue his weight lifting which opened up some modeling opportunities for him.

In the summer of his junior year in college he came home for the summer something he hadn’t done since he left for college after graduating for high school. He declared his sexuality to his parents which caused quite a scene at home and him to return to California immediately. His sisters accepted him immediately having known for many years but his parents took some time longer and his relationship never returned to what it once was before he came out.

Casey graduated with a degree in Veterinary medicine and underwent a one year internship with a clinic in San Francisco. During his internship his parents flew out to California and finally reconciled with their son and asked him to return home. For the first couple of years Casey and his father worked together at the clinic and eventually his father cut back his own hours to part time and left the running of the clinic to Casey.
