Family Background

Amelia Sanders -  Carter's late wife.  She died from cancer in 1999.

Patrick Sanders - Carter's eldest.  He is a bachelor with a taste for younger women. He is a womanizer at heart. Patrick has been living in Boston for the past 15 years. He is a mechanic engineer.

Adam Sanders - Carter's second eldest.  He is a firefighter like his father before him. He is a lovable and fun loving man.  He came out to his family as gay in early 2007.

Jacqueline Sanders - Carter's second youngest.  When Amelia died she became the mother of the family and did everything she could to keep them together.  Briefly she was married to Luke Questal; the two seperated as the result of his drinking and alcohol abuse.   TShe left Pleasant Port at the end of October, 2007, saying that she was going to help her sister.  What was to be a temporary thing became permanent; she finally moved out completely that December when her ex-boyfriend refused to take her back.

Katherine Sanders - Carter's youngest.  She is the wildest of the Saunders' children. She left Pleasant Port after high school and her family doesn't see her very often. Kate always had problems staying in one place for long so she is often on the move. Currently, Kate is living in San Diego, CA.
