Before His Birth

	Rupert Wright born.
	Lisa born.
	Rupert and Lisa marry.
1973	Michelle Wright born.
1976	Kayla Wright born.

1970’s

March 5, 1978	Brendan Wright is born.
	Brendan is baptised.

1980’s

1981	Having always gone to Michelle's dance classes, Bren begins mimicing the dancers. His mother decides to enroll him in ballet as a result.
1983	To counter the dance classes that his son takes, Rupert begins teaching Brendan about cars.
1985	Brendan goes to his first confession. A few weeks later he participates in his first communion.
	Bren is registered in Cub Scouts for the first time. At first he doesn't like it because it interfers with his dancing, but after a bit he takes to it, especially the paramilitary and camping aspects.
1987	Rupert begins teaching his son how to shoot and hunt.
1988	Brendan and Rupert begin restoring a 1949 Oldsmobile 88.
1989	Michelle is diagnosed with a glioma in her brainstem.
	Bren kisses Amy Salinger.
	Michelle dies.

1990’s

1990	With the car fully restored, Rupert sells the Eighty-Eight. With the money he gets from it, he buys another car for him and Brendan to restore, putting the left-over into a college fund for the boy.
1991	Brendan enrolls in his first modern dance class where he begins good friends with Sophia Clark.
1992	Having already been exposed to heterosexual porn, Brendan comes across homosexual porn for the first time. While he's questioned his sexuality prior to this, it's the first time he gives the possibility of him not being straight any serious thought.
	Brendan confirms himself as a Catholic.
1993	Brendan and Sophia begin dancing competitively together. Because of the time that this takes up, Bren completely stops going to Boy Scouts and his grades drop.
	Brendan gets his eyebrow pierced. While he rather liked the piercing, he removed it when he enlisted.
December, 1994	In an attempt to prove to himself that he's not gay, Brendan begins going out with Sophia.
	While goofing around during a performance of The Nutcracker, Bren runs into some exposed piping. He cuts the skin through his eyebrow and suffers from a concussion as the result.
February 14, 1995	Sophia and Brendan have sex. It is the only time he has sex with a member of the opposite sex.
February 15, 1995	Brendan tells Sophia that he thinks he's gay and breaks up with her. At first she's extremely upset, but after a bit she comes to accept him and promises to keep Brendan's secret.
March 7, 1995	Brendan enlists in the United States Army. He is stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas.
	Bren meets Christian Evanski, who is three years older than him. The two soon begins a relationship. Understanding the military's stance on homosexuality the two are very careful to keep it between the two of them.
1996	Rupert and Lisa decide to retire and sell their farm. They move to Stanton Hills.
October	Brendan is shipped to Bosnia with the Army
	Brendan and Christian have sex for the first time.
April, 1997	Bren completes his tour of Bosnia and returns to Fort Bliss.
May, 1997	Bren comes out to his parents. Rupert is instantly angered and denounces his son. Lisa meekly follows her husband when with him, but later she approaches her son about trying to help him redeem himself and make amends for his sins. When Brendan leaves Pleasant Por to return to Fort Bliss, he cuts off ties with his parents. The only form of contact that he will have with them for the next few years is through Kayla.
1998	Kayla marries Stewart Green and buys a farm with him.
1999	Brendan is shipped to Kosovos with the Army.

2000's

2000	While overseas, Brendan fractures his knee. After a brief period of time in a military hospital overseas, he is shipped back to the United States.
	After being given leave from the military due to his knee, Brendan returns to Pleasant Port to visit with family and friends. During his stay he plans to stay with his sister and her husband. One night, after walking out of a bar two days after returning to town Bren is attacked by Darnell Johnson with a baseball bat. The man hits him in the head once before being inturrupted by another patron of the bar. While he is in the hospital, his mother visits him for the first time since he came out.
	Darnell has charges pressed against him. At the insistence of his sister, Bren files a civil suite against him, employing Robert Gray as his lawyer.
	Because Brendan's attack is being called a hate crime due to his sexuality, the Army begins an investigation into his sexuality. Soon after he recieves a discharge from the army.
	Christian visits Bren in the hospital and breaks up with him.
	Brendan is released from the hospital and moves in with the Greens.
2001	Darnell is sentenced to time served and two years of probation. Brendan is thoroughly disappointed with the failure of the legal system. Feeling jaded, he begins to question the world around him, resulting in his leaving the church.
	Bren wins his law suite. The settlement that he receives is just enough to cover his medical bills and legal fees.
	Brendan and Robert go out on several dates, but they quickly end things when Bren realizes that he's not capable of being with someone physically. As a result of their break up, he begins to see a psychologist.
	Bren begins working at Woodstoves Autorepair.
2002	Brendan buys a 1986 Jeep Cherokee that he begins to alter in his spare time.
2003	Kayla and Stewart's son, who they name Tyler, is born. Remembering the colour scheme for the wedding, Brendan instantly begins calling his nephew 'Hunter'.
	Feeling that he doesn't really belong in the main house Brendan moves into the Green's guest house.
2005	Brendan buys a 1965 Mercury truck that he begins to restore in his spare time.

2007

December 26	While babysitting his nephew Bren trips over a toy truck and messes up his knee again.
December 28	Before work, Bren pops into School Kids Records where he is assaulted by a pipe bursting. It is there that he meets, or rather meets again, Tim Jenkins. While confused about the other man's sexuality, he develops a slight crush on him.

2008

January 1	While working out at the gym, Bren encounters Fletcher Montgomery, sparking a rage of paranoia. Brendan is quick to decide that the other man must either be a terrorist or a homophob and is certainly stalking him. In the midst of a freak out, he phones Cole Cleyburne and Ethan Hauer. When the two make their individual stops to calm Bren down, only succeeding in convincing him that they're terrorists as well.
March 5	At a birthday party for his 30th birthday Brendan has a bit too much to drink, causing him to reveal his suspicions to Cole.
May 23	While having lunch with Amy she suggests to him that he go out on a date with a friend of hers. Despite an initial dislike of the idea, Bren ends up calling the guy, Corey Lindaugh, and asking him out. During the phone call that ensues, Brendan becomes rather convinces that Corey is one of Amy's ultra-left wing flamer friends and fears the worst for the date.
May 24	Bren and Corey go out on their date. Despite an initial awkwardness, the two eventually open up to each other a bit, especially after they leave the pool hall. Bren is relieved to see that Corey isn't anything like he was expecting, and develops a bit of a crush on him. The date ends badly, however; while they're making out Corey runs his hands through Brendan's hair, triggering Bren's paranoia.
May 25	While wallowing in self-pity and self-hatred, Brendan receives a phone call from Cole, chastising him for the voicemail that he left Amy. He does not react well and a fight ensues, ending in Bren telling Cole to stay out of his life and mind his own business.
	Even though he's angry with Cole, Bren regrets the tone he took with Amy, and phones her up to apologize.
	Bren's road hockey team wins their first game of the tournament and goes on to the semi-finals.
May 26	Estela Russell comes into Woodstoves and flirts with Brendan a bit. Even though he knows it's wrong to lead her on, he flirst back, even going so far as to go for breakfast with her.
	As he's leaving work, Bren sees Corey outside of the shop. The two end up going to Corey's place and talking - resulting in Brendan having a bit of a break down as he discusses his attack.
May 27	During the road hockey game, Bren receives a particularly nasty check from Amy. While he refuses to admit as much, the check causes his knee to start acting up. Bren's team loses the game.
May 28	Estela comes by to pick up her car. Knowing that he shouldn't have lead her on at first, Bren feels rather awkward. This doesn't prevent him from agreeing to go on a date with her.
