Usually wears: Comfortable clothing. Jeans and a band tee with skate shoes. She's been putting a little more effort into what she wears though.
Never wears: Anything that makes her feel ordinary. Skirts are generally out, and she doesn't typically dress up.
Ashley loves the punk style, most often seen with a band t-shirt, and a pair of ragged jeans, she rarely steps out of her comfort level. When she does though, she cleans up quite nicely. She has very long, dark hair with sideswept bangs that are almost always in her face. She doesn't mind though, thats where they belong. She likes hats, usually a something stylish and fun, but will settle for something else if it's available. She likes to look different, and it definately reflects in her style. Sadly enough she wears sunglasses a lot, though she has beautiful blue eyes.
Personality
While Ashley isn't quite the girl next door, she isn't exactly the woman in red either. Her harsh exterior isn't so much a reflection of her life as it is her personality. She thrives on being different and an individual in every aspect of life. Though she looks tough with her piercings and tattoos, she is sweet, and genuine, and surprisingly somewhat of a "good girl." She doesn't talk much, but when she does, it usually is something important or fun.
She's a highschool dropout, which is surprising because she made straight A's with little effort and was always enrolled in advanced classes. She's incredibly intelligent, but her artsy side gets the best of her, always doodling on the side of important papers, or rocking out when she should be paying attention.
Although Ashley has a sweet nature, she also has a dark side. She has a fake ID, something she only uses when she's alone and wants to play nice game of pool or get beer for her and her friends. She doesn't like going out, but she has been known to use drugs on occasion, only enough to expand her mind and learn new things and new ways of seeing things. She's a great friend, but to people who don't know her she comes off hard and standoffish, something she thinks that she gets from
her father.
Ashley has a thing for older men. She can't explain it, but she just likes how it feels to be seeing an older guy. She typically just feels like she has more control of the situation. She lies a lot about her age, which ends up biting her in the ass every time. She doesn't care really though. She hates to think about it, and hates rejection even more.
She's a vegetarian, and though she knows that other people eat meat, she doesn't understand it. She wants to move away desperately, not because she is bored, but because she feels like there is more out there for her than Pleasant Port. She feels like she could really be something if she lived somewhere else. Her tattoos mean a lot to her. Each one has a purpose and being a tattoo artist would be a great accomplishment for her, considering she never finishes what she starts. She was 16 when she got her first using a fake ID.
Personal History
Ashley grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. With a father that abandoned her mom shortly after she was born, Ashley grew up as a latch key kid with a mother who worked a ton to support the two of them. At an early age Ashley took a great interest in Art, especially drawing. Constantly doodling on the corner of notebooks and sketching on her homework, Ashley grew up dreaming of great artists.
Art was her favorite subject in highschool. She was noticed at an early age to be very intelligent, always enrolled in advanced classes or honors programs in school. When She began highschool she was friends with a group of girls from Pleasant Port Highschool. Alanna being closest to her. When she began to befriend Maddy Alanna got a bit jealous. It seemed like the two just clashed incredibly. After a long month of Alanna making up stupid rumors Ashley decided not to hang out with her anymore, thus losing the rest of her friends she knew through Alanna.
That began the relationship between Ashley and Maddy. The two were quickly inseperable. Ashley became intrigued by her style and loopy personality. For someone reserved like Ashley she slowly began to mimic Maddy's look. Within several months Ashley let loose getting her first tattoo, and then a few piercings shortly after. She was addicted. It was her new favorite thing and she decided that someday she wanted to be a tattoo artist.
When she dropped out of school her mother was heartbroken. Everyone told her not to. It was such a waste of a brilliant young mind to drop out at sixteen, but Ashley had better things to do. She began to see Justin after lying about her age and while it didn't last she remained friends with him. Her thoughts and dreams were far away but she was stuck in Pleasant Port and school was just keeping her down.
She got a piercing license and began to work at the local tattoo shop. As soon as she proved herself as someone with talent, the owner accepted her as an apprentice. Just recently becoming an actual tattoo artist, Ashley feels like she's actually accomplished something. She's crazy about her job, it's what makes her happy.
She began to date Leon Doherty, but it didn't last long. She hates that she made the mistake of sort of seeing him in the first place. Several days after a nasty break up, she went to go live in Seattle and get to know a half-sister she had recently found out about. With the influence of Allison Hodge, Ashley is registered to start school school. She's back in town with a new attitude and a new look to match.
*Madeline Baker*- Best friend and confidant. Her partner in crime and the only one who knows everything about Ashley. Ashley doesn't know what she would do without her. They met when Ashley was 15, and since then, Ashley had depended on Maddy a lot. She's always been there for her and she's the only one who really gets to see the real Ashley. Recently their relationship has been strained because Ash feels like she never sees her anymore.
*Lucas Jenkins*- She still considers him a friend after their breakup, it's just difficult and she isn't sure how to act with him considering the circumstances. She wants to be his friend, but isn't sure how he is going to act around her from now on.
*Justin Parker*- Ex-boyfriend and good friend. Up until recently they had a relationship where they made out on occasion. They both cheated on their significant others and it got weird between them for a while, though they are on good, friendly terms now. They've had sex a few times in the last year, after losing her virginity to him.
*Norah Parker*- Former friend and annoyance. Another person who's skin Ashley loves to get under.
*Cassandra Davis*- Former Co-worker. She gets along well with Cassie. She likes her a lot and is her favorite person to work with.
*Fletcher Montgomery*- She knows him as the asshole that knocked her friend up. She hates the fact that he seems to have stollen her friend from her. She feels bad for Maddy having to be stuck with him, and can't really stand anything about him.
*Scott Archer*- Great friend. She feels safe around him because he's such a damn sweet guy. He's also the person that got her into being a vegan vegetarian.
*Luke Questral*- Knows him from the Pool Hall. She isn't sure why, but for some reason she feels a connection to him. She feels weird around him sometimes, but for the most part she just gets really happy when he's near her. She gets that he has a lot going on and understands that he wants to stay out of trouble, but for the most part doesn't care.
*Colin Lowen*- Her best friend's ex. She feels pretty bad for him for the most part, but know's he's a good guy deep down.
*Travis Colins*- A friend of Scott's that she ended up messing around with while she was still dating Lucas. She feels weird around him because she feels like he has a crush on her.
*Fionn Gallagher*- One of her good pals. She loves to hang out with him to eat veggies and talk about art.
*Leon Doherty*- Ex boyfriend. She doesn't understand him and can't stand the thought of him at the moment.
