Aleksei - Defender of Mankind, or the senior class of Pleasant Point High School in this case.
Viktorovich - In Russia all male middle names from from the fathers first name. Aleksei's father is Victor which means the Conqueror
Podolsky - He who lives at the foot of a hill. This is because the name was adopted by Polish Jews in the middle ages who lived at the bottom of hills in Poland.

Appearance

Aleksei is 5'9" tall and very slim. He is toned, but is just one of those people that doesn't really have to work for it. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. His skin is pretty pale due to his Russian heritage. He likes a good pair of jeans and a t-shirt ot a button up shirt. He isn't hard to please when it comes to close. His hair is naturally curly, but usually he will have it straightened.

Personality and Personal History

Aleksei is pretty laid back. He is very outgoing and enjoys company. However, at the same time he is a bit of a loner. That probably comes from his being alone for the majority of his life. He manages pretty well in social situations, but he didn't get out much as a kid and that does hinder him some times. He is pretty confident around women that he is attracted to. His problem would be men. He knows his parents wouldn't approve of the lifestyle he finds himself wants, and that does cause some internal issues with him. As a result, he can seem shy around certain men. This is usually because he has a crush on them. He likes Pleasant Port, and now that he has his license and a vehicle he really wants a job.

Aleksei was raised jewish, though once they moved to Pleasant Port that did fade some. Aleksei himself is Agnostic and his family and he simply don't discuss religion. It will just lead to an argument. He doesn't eat Kosher only foods unless is parents are in town. Aleksei's family does practice Hanukkah and not Christmas though they generally do get a Christmas Tree to put in the window.

Aleksei did play soccer in middle school, but that was the extent of his sports career. He does enjoy watching college and pro football on TV, and going to the occasional game. If his team is doing well during the year he will almost never miss a game if it is on TV. If it isn't on TV he generally watches the play by play on the internet. He likes to go to Square Books to sit and read on the balcony a lot. It is a way for him to get out of the house, be around other people, and still be alone at the same time. He loves driving his truck around, and driving his friends around. Any chance he can get to drive he takes.

Being the stereotypical Russian family. Aleksei comes from a long line of Vodka drinkers. He has drank many an American under the table even at 16. While he knows drinking is illegal he doesn't much care. If drinking is going on at a party chances are he is partaking.

Family Background

Born in Leningrad, USSR in 1991 to Victor and Marie Podolsky. They were the model of the Soviet state you could say. His father worked in a factory and his mother worked in the textile industry. After the fall of the USSR and the complete collapse of the Russion economy his parents moved to the United States of America. They lived in the Bronx in New York for a year, but after visiting a distant relative in Stanton Hills moved to Pleasant Port. His parents instantly fell in love with the American Dream. They both applied and were hired by the state department in 1996. As a result they are rarely home. Once Aleksei reached 12 years old he asked his parents to stop using a babysitter and they agreed. So, Aleksei spends most of his time alone. His parents call him every evening to talk to him, and they make sure he always has plenty of money to get by.

Aleksei likes to read a lot, and he enjoys surfing the internet. He plays a lot of video games. He likes to go out to parties, but he really can't do to much in the sun unless it is the winter.
